Mam przed sobą wyjątkowo ciekawą pozycje, cechującą się niczym innym jak tylko ultra szybkim death metalem znanym pod szyldem Debodified. Nie ukrywam, że Debodified nic nowego nie odkrywa, w rzeczy samej gra bez wątpienia mega brutalny death metal, powodujący pożądaną rozkosz ciała i umysłu. Więc co więcej jest w nim takiego ciekawego? Otóż mili państwo przede wszystkim niczym nie okiełznana zwierzęcość. Tak się teraz gra na amerykańskich ziemiach, brutalnie, ciężko, bez ograniczeń!

Na „Utopia In The Eyes Of A Beast” rządzi zwierzęca agresja, bogata szorstka stylistyka zmieniająca się jak w kalejdoskopie. W sumie to szczególny nacisk przeszywa szarżująca brutalność z gdzie niegdzie wyczuwalnymi momentami słabości, która cechuje się mało znaczącymi zwolnieniami. Jednak cały krążek to istny huragan, ciężki, do bólu masywny, rozrywający sond miażdżący, sieka i rozpruwa. Nawet momentami jest bardzo melodyjnie, ale to jednak zasłona dymana dla rozkręcających się za chwilę chropowatych, ultra szybkich dźwięków. Jeszcze ten wokal wgniatający w podłogę wylewający z siebie świńskie charczenia, okrzyki zwierzęcia prowadzonego na rzęź. Debodified to pozycja bezapelacyjnie dla wytrwałych maniaków lubiących ból i cierpienie.

Lust of Decay is a pretty similar band to in sound, especially when you look at the fact that the two bands share drummer Jordan Varela. And my goodness is he a beast behind the kit, with tons of excellent fills, and they don't get monotonous at times like they do on LoD's Infesting The Exhumed.

This band has some heavy-ass riffs, a nice slam here and there (at around 1:58 on "Instinct For Malevolence" = Intimidatingly heavy/brutal), but the riffs wouldn't sound nearly as good if it weren't for the fills. The band has an intro with Adolf Hitler speaking at the beginning of "Terminated With Extreme Prejudice", and while I normally would look down upon this, I suck it up and again the music in all of its aggressiveness.

All in all, this a kick-ass brutal DM album with fast brutal drumming, some good breakdowns, a few leads, and above average vox. Highly recommended!

Djavan Caetano Viana (ur. 27 stycznia 1949) to brazylijski piosenkarz, autor tekstów i gitarzysta. Jest powszechnie uważany za jednego z najwybitniejszych wokalistów w historii Brazylii. W 2019 roku wyciekło do Internetu ok. ośmiu godzin materiałów związanych z albumem „Chinese Democracy”. Nagrania krążące po sieci są tak dobrej jakości, że onegdaj pojawiły się dwa bootlegi zatytułowane „The Village Sessions Vol. 1” (3xCD) i „The Village Sessions Vol. 2” (4xCD). Siedem płyt, a na nich demówki, odrzuty, alternatywne wersje i inne rzeczy. Ponad osiem godzin muzyki związanej z ostatnim studyjnym dziełem Gunsów. Prace nad albumem, który znamy dziś pod tytułem „Chinese Democracy” zaczęły się w 1994 roku. Możemy więc sobie tylko wyobrazić ilość nagranego materiału, który w ostatecznej wersji ukazał się w 2008 roku. Pierwotna selekcja materiału na nowy album zakończyła się w 2001 roku. Wówczas były już przygotowane utwory, które znalazły się na albumie siedem lat później, ale też takie, których nigdy później nie opublikowano.

Torrent zawiera dwupłytową, zedytowaną porcję dostępnego materiału. Wybrano nagrania najlepsze z najlepszych i tak pojawił się bootleg wytwórni Wrathchild pt. „The Village Sessions: Best Selection”. Jest to najlepsza selekcja ośmiogodzinnego materiału audio, który pojawił się w sieci w 2019 roku.

Tytuł bootlegu nawiązuje oczywiście do jednego z miejsc, w którym Gunsi rejestrowali nowy materiał – Village Studios w Los Angeles. Na przestrzeni siedemnastu lat pracy na albumem, Axl do nagrywania wykorzystał czternaście różnych miejscówek. Okładka albumu jest tą, która miała pierwotnie zdobić wydany w 2008 roku jak na razie ostatni studyjny krążek. Materiał muzyczny znajdujący się na obu dyskach został nagrany w latach 2000-2001, mamy więc do czynienia z nagraniami sprzed niemal ćwierć wieku. Płyty mieszczą w sumie 37 nagrań w przeróżnej stylistyce: od hard rocka, po quasi-industrialne i syntezatorowe brzmienia. Mamy tutaj 12 nagrań znanych z „Chinese Democracy”, ale przedstawionych w alternatywnych wersjach, czasami w zupełnie innych aranżacjach. Część z nich zawiera wokale, część jest instrumentalna. Na dysku pierwszym zostały zamieszczone także oba nagrania znane z EPki „Hard School” (również w wersjach alternatywnych).

Dwadzieścia utworów zawartych na bootlegu nie zostało nigdy wcześniej wydanych na żadnym fizycznym nośniku. Pięć z nich zawiera wokale Axl’a; są to w pełni rozwinięte, niewydane wcześniej gotowe utwory („Atlas Shrugged”, „Quick Song”, „State of Grace”, „Nothing” oraz „Eye on You”). Pozostałe to wyselekcjonowane, w pełni zaaranżowane nagrania instrumentalne. W nawiasach przy tytułach utworów wydawca poinformował, która wersja nagrania została wybrana, co oczywiście jest podyktowane ilością materiału, jaki wyciekł. Całość została profesjonalnie zmiksowana.

Jeśli lubicie trzy ostatnie płyty Paradise Lost, to szybko wsiąknięcie w „Ascension”. Anglicy kontynuują kierunek, wyznaczony dziesięć lat temu. Już nie zaskakują, ale wciąż potrafią pisać niezłe piosenki; szczególnie, gdy Nick odstawia growling. I od growlingu zacznę. Przyznam, że męczy mnie dziś w muzyce Paradise Lost. Oczywiście, nie mówimy tu o czasach pierwotnych, za punkt wyjścia przyjmuję „The Plage Within”, na który Holmes przeniósł umiejętności z Bloodbath. I owszem, po latach growlowej absencji udowodnił, że wciąż potrafi ryczeć. Początkowo taka ekspresja miała swój urok, pasowała też do dusznej „Medusy”. To jednak czyste i „hetfieldujące” partie stały się znakiem rozpoznawczym zespołu, właśnie na ich bazie kapela stworzyła najlepsze hity w swojej karierze. „Ascension” potwierdza tę regułę, mamy tu bowiem sporo charakterystycznego śpiewu Nicka; więcej niż zapowiadały dwa pierwsze single. Trzeba przyznać, że wokalista Paradise Lost jest w dobrej formie (przynajmniej w studiu), to jego linie melodyczne niosą tę płytę – czy to w przebojowych „Tyrants of Serenade” i „A Life Unknown”, melancholijnym „Savage Days” lub metallikowym „Sirens”. Paradise Lost to brytyjska grupa gothic metalowa powstała w 1988 roku w Halifaksie w Anglii. Zespół bywa zaliczany do pionierów death doom metalu oraz metalu gotyckiego. W późniejszym okresie grupa eksperymentowała z elementami elektroniki, poddając się jednocześnie inspiracjom rockiem gotyckim. Po tym okresie zespół powrócił jednak do cięższych brzmień, a wraz z wydaniem w 2015 roku albumu The Plague Within powrócił do elementów takich jak growl. Wstawka zawiera siedemnasty, najnowszy album studyjny zespołu.

Zaz, właśc. Isabelle Geffroy (ur. 1 maja 1980 w Tours) to francuska piosenkarka jazzowa i soulowa.
Zadebiutowała w 2001 występami w bluesowej formacji Fifty Fingers. W 2002 przyłączyła się do grupy Don Diego charakteryzującej się graniem mieszanki stylów latino i rock, ze znaczącymi wpływami afro, arabo i andalo. Nie osiągnąwszy sukcesu, w 2006 wyjechała do Paryża, gdzie śpiewała głównie w piano-barach oraz grała w kabarecie Aux 3 Mailletz w dzielnicy Saint-Michel. Grywała również na ulicy, głównie na Montmartrze, na chodniku przy placu du Tertre. W 2007 rozpoczęła współpracę z producentem i kompozytorem Kerredinem Soltanim, który napisał dla niej piosenkę „Je veux”. Jesienią 2008 wzięła udział w konkursie Le Tremplin Génération France Bleu/Réservoir oraz za pośrednictwem stowarzyszenia Alliance française z Władywostoku wystąpiła gościnnie w Rosji, dając 15 kameralnych koncertów w towarzystwie pianisty Juliena Lifszyca. W styczniu 2009 wygrała trzecią edycję konkursu Le Tremplin Génération France Bleu/Réservoir odbywającego się w Paryżu. Koncertowała w Rosji, Japonii i Egipcie. Wstawka zawiera szósty, najnowszy album Zaz.
