Founded in Budapest, Hungary in 2004

SPECIAL PROVIDENCE was formed by Zoltán CSÉRY (keyboards) and Ádám MARKÓ (drums) who both graduated from Kobánya Music Studio. Attila FEHÉRVÁRI (bass) - who has replaced Istvan BATA, the original bass player appearing in all their releases - and Márton KERTÉSZ (guitar, since 2006), graduates of the Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest complete the line-up. Besides SPECIAL PROVIDENCE, the members of the band take part in other groups and projects in Hungary as songwriters, studio musicians or orchestrators. They released their debut album in 2007 titled "Space Café" and then were invited to tour with the JEFF ANDREWS TRIO. In December 2008 they released the 2nd album titled "Labyrinth". The band has performed in well-known festivals mainly around continental Europe. The label Musea started to distribute the band's albums in 15 countries since 2010, while in March of the same year they released their first DVD entitled "Something Special".

The sound of the band is based on a highly virtuosic blend of jazz rock/fusion and traditional progressive metal and should appeal to fans of both genres.

'BLACK PASCHA - Пасха в Кракове 2024' is a recording of the stream from the Polish tour 'CZARNA PASCHA', which took place at Hype Park in Krakow. Some of you may have watched it live. This release features over 80 minutes of music with video, including 15 songs available on two CDs and a DVD in an 8-panel digipack with a booklet. Additionally, there will be a double vinyl in a gatefold format and a wooden box set with extras.
Please note that these releases are strictly limited and all copies will contain the band’s autographs. The graphic design was supervised by Diana Sawicka, photos was made by Romana Makówka while the Dobra12 and Hiatsyntos collective ensured exceptional sound and video quality.

Czyste bluźnierstwo, spustoszenie i choroba...

Kalifornijski kwintet Insineratehymn choć działa na deathmetalowym poletku od ponad dekady raczej nie zaskarbił sobie szerszej uwagi gatunkowego podziemia swoimi dwoma poprzednimi albumami. Choć w żaden sposób nie były one złe, to chyba miały za mało asów w rękawie, aby muzycy mieli siłę przebicia na tej dość prężnej ostatnimi lat niszy. Sytuacja może się zmienić niedługo za sprawą najnowszej propozycji Amerykanów, gdyż „Irreverence Of The Divine” to kawał bardzo dobrego, klasycznego metalu śmierci, który prezentuje się kilka poziomów lepiej niż poprzednie ich dokonania. Choć nazwa grupy wskazywałaby, że główną inspiracją powinna tutaj być załoga Bentona i spółki, to wspływów w muzyce Amerykanów należałoby szukać raczej gdzie indziej. Mięsisty, utrzymany w średnio-szybkim tempie death metal w wydaniu tej załogi wyraźnie zakorzeniony jest w dorobku Morbid Angel i tylko bardziej rozbujanym wcieleniu klasycznego Cannibal Corpse. Jestem poniekąd zaskoczony poziomem tego wydawnictwa, gdyż nie podziewałem się, że będzie prezentował, równy, bardzo wysoki poziom i skupiał uwagę słuchacza na całej długości jego trwania. Szybka perkusyjna łupanina, barnesowe wokalizy z okresu „The Bleeding”, błyskotliwe solówki, tłuściutkie, motoryczne riffy, zmiany tempa, prawilne, głębokie brzmienie – tutaj jest wszystko za co kochamy amerykański death metal sprzed trzech dekad. Nie brakuje tu pomysłów, kawałki różnią się tempem, pomysły mijają się jak auta na ruchliwej autostradzie, ale wszystko chodzi jak w zegarku nie zapędzając się w niebezpieczne i niezbadane rewiry.

Pola na eksperymenty tutaj nie ma, co w tym przypadku należy uznać za ogromny atut. Muzycy Insineratehymn doskonale odrobili lekcje i mocno przysiedli do pisania materiału, który choć nieco odtwórczy to jednak ma w obie potężną dawkę świeżości, błysku i pomysłów. Kulminacja inwencji twórczej w ósmym z kolei „Visage Of The Infinite” potwierdza, że Ci goście potrafią wyłamać się z klasycznym ram i trochę pokręcić metrum i pokombinować i nie ukrywam, że bardzo chciałbym usłyszeć ich eksplorujących dalej te rewiry. Wieńczący płytę instrumentalny „Empyrean Desolation” miejscami cytuje innego, akustycznego, deathmetalowego klasyczka czyli „Desolate Ways” Morbidów, co tylko potwierdza, że jeśli brać przykład to tylko z najlepszych. Oczywiście „Irreverence of The Divine” niczego nie zmienia i pewnie nie wywinduje Insineratehymn do panteonu gwiazd współczesnego metalu śmierci, ale jeśli ktoś szuka gatunkowego grania sprzed trzech dekad to niniejsze wydawnictwo ma moją pełną rekomendację. Tu nie a czego się doczepić. Mało kto teraz tak gra i reprezentuje taki poziom. Ja wiem, że to wszystko już było i po co Insineratehymn skoro są Morbidzi i kanibale, ale… ja jestem mamoniowaty nostalgiczny i sentymentalny i lubię dźwięki, które już znam. A jeśli zarejestrowano je i zagrano w taki sposób, że brzmią jak muzyka a nie generyczny produkt to idę w to jak dzik w szyszki. Może to będzie przygoda na kilka odsłuchów, może na dłużej, ale będzie to na pewno bardzo fajna przygoda. Enjoy!

Los Angeles' INSINERATEHYMN return for their third full length more malevolent, more sinister, and more urgent than ever.
Right after its mood-setting acoustic intro, Irreverence of the Divine sets forth an atmosphere of all-consuming, unmitigated diabolism and possession, put into sonic form as death metal of a most early '90s vintage. In many senses, INSINERATEHYMN here expand the extremes of their sound; their attack is tighter and more calculated but never sterile, while the songwriting itself steps over the threshold into berserker territory with increasing regularity. Eerily melodic solos likewise crop up more often, really plowing that furlough too often forgotten by nowadays "OSDM" bands. All those aforementioned tools are used - savagely, stylishly - and with the album's eight central songs totaling 40 minutes, Irreverence of the Divine never feels too short nor too epic.

‚Long live the rot‘ marks the 2nd full-length album of German/Swedish based Old School Death Metal trio in ROTPIT.
They deliver 10 new tracks - sicker, more filthy, more ambitious, unique in sound and straight to the bone.
Rotfreaks who already appreciated the highly acclaimed debut ,Let there be rot’ , which was released in 2023 by War Anthem Records, will get an even deadlier injection with their sophomore record!
On this album ROTPIT introducing their new drummer Erik Barthold, who is well known from Swedish Doomers in LEFT HAND SOLUTION and his participation in the glorious punk band DET KRISTET UTSEENDE: „We were looking for a drummer who is located closeby to our main songwriter Jonny Pettersson to implement a more natural flow and growth to our new material on the one hand and to develop ROTPIT from an originally intended studio project into a live performing band on the other hand.
Erik did a hell of a job in pushing our songs to a new level while he perfectly added his own skillset into the soundscape of rot.“
Like on their debut their main songwriter Jonny Pettersson (MASSACRE, WOMBBATH, BERZERKER LEGION) produced the album at Studio Unbound. The mastering was finished at Nevo Studios in Sundsvall, Sweden.
Ralf Hauber (REVEL IN FLESH, HEADS FOR THE DEAD, FETID ZOMBIE, JUST BEFORE DAWN...) added his mark shocking vocals, filthy lyrics and the overall concept of rot. Vocalwise this is his most brutal sounding contribution to the scene so far.

Nowa, limitowana, europejska edycja jedynego, bardzo mrocznego albumu szkockiego, zapomnianego heavyrockowego tria, czerpiącego z psychodelicznej tradycji. Wydany w gustownej okładce przez Decca Records w sierpniu 1970 roku LP, optymistycznie nazwany "Volume One", był dziełem wyjątkowym i oryginalnym, zawierającym siedem kompozycji będących połączeniem stylistyki Cream, Hendrixa, Black Sabbath i może wczesnych East Of Eden. Zdecydowanie większą część trwającej zaledwie 34 minuty płyty wypełniały bardzo dynamiczne, pełne rozlicznych zmian, po części instrumentalne utwory oparte na niezliczonej ilości sabbatowskich riffów i rozbujanych partiach gitary, potężnym brzmieniu pulsującego basu, fantazyjnej, swobodnej, ale zagęszczonej grze perkusji oraz mrocznym, niesamowitym wokalu. W nieco odmiennym, psychodelicznym stylu utrzymane były kompozycje charakteryzujace się przelewającym się jak magma, przesterowanym gitarowym brzmieniem zainspirowanym muzyką Wschodu, momentami oparte na współbrzmieniu akustycznych i elektrycznych gitar.

Warto wiedzieć, że "Maybe Someday" w oryginalnej, surowej wersji pojawił się na debiutanckiej płycie grupy The Incredible String Band. Ten wspaniały album należy moim zdaniem do największych osiągnięć brytyjskiego rockowego undergroundu!
Oryginalny longplay w brytyjskiej wersji jest bardzo pożądany i wart jest... 3000 euro!

Nowa, limitowana, europejska edycja jedynego, bardzo mrocznego albumu szkockiego, zapomnianego heavyrockowego tria, czerpiącego z psychodelicznej tradycji. Wydany w gustownej okładce przez Decca Records w sierpniu 1970 roku LP, optymistycznie nazwany "Volume One", był dziełem wyjątkowym i oryginalnym, zawierającym siedem kompozycji będących połączeniem stylistyki Cream, Hendrixa, Black Sabbath i może wczesnych East Of Eden. Zdecydowanie większą część trwającej zaledwie 34 minuty płyty wypełniały bardzo dynamiczne, pełne rozlicznych zmian, po części instrumentalne utwory oparte na niezliczonej ilości sabbatowskich riffów i rozbujanych partiach gitary, potężnym brzmieniu pulsującego basu, fantazyjnej, swobodnej, ale zagęszczonej grze perkusji oraz mrocznym, niesamowitym wokalu. W nieco odmiennym, psychodelicznym stylu utrzymane były kompozycje charakteryzujace się przelewającym się jak magma, przesterowanym gitarowym brzmieniem zainspirowanym muzyką Wschodu, momentami oparte na współbrzmieniu akustycznych i elektrycznych gitar.

Warto wiedzieć, że "Maybe Someday" w oryginalnej, surowej wersji pojawił się na debiutanckiej płycie grupy The Incredible String Band. Ten wspaniały album należy moim zdaniem do największych osiągnięć brytyjskiego rockowego undergroundu!
Oryginalny longplay w brytyjskiej wersji jest bardzo pożądany i wart jest... 3000 euro!

Jest to jak najbardziej uprawnione stwierdzenie – na „Sex Metal” słychać bowiem bardzo mocne inspiracje dwiema pierwszymi studyjnymi płytami ekipy Romana. Ale nie tylko jej. Dorzuciłbym od siebie Scarecrow, Thrasher Death, pierwszy Dragon i Wilczy Pająk czy nawet Destroyers. Generalnie ten band złożony z muzyków Haunted Cenotaph, Black Hosts czy edytora „Dead ’til Death” zine okopał się głęboko w drugiej połowie lat osiemdziesiątych, kiedy na polskiej scenie wszystko było jeszcze dziewicze i totalnie surowe. Brzmi to przede wszystkim naprawdę doskonale – to znaczy, cholernie dziko i surowo, tak jak powinno i jak grało się dawniej w polskim undergroundzie. Oczywiście można by było wymienić również i nazwy spoza granic Polskiej Rzeczypospolitej Ludowej, ale mam dziwne podskórne przeczucie, że ta kapela powstała głównie jako hołd dla krajowej sceny. Między innymi z uwagi na polskojęzyczne teksty – tutaj chwilami mamy zrzynę z Kata, kiedy indziej zalatuje to perwersyjnymi lirykami pisanymi przez Łozę. A jako że naprawdę jestem fanem zespołów, które przedtem wymieniłem – SexMag robi mi cholernie dobrze. Fajnie też, że trafili pod opiekuńcze skrzydła Floriana, bo ten typ wie jak wypromować tego typu granie.

Więc jeśli tylko polski metal z drugiej połowy lat osiemdziesiątych jest podstawą Twojego muzycznego gustu, bierz EPkę SexMag w ciemno. Napierdalać banią i jebać pozerów!

Each Polish fan of the old metal at the sight of the name of the new band from Silesia will have only one correct association. The origin of its name is so unambiguous that you don't need to explain anything to anyone. Therefore, it is not difficult to guess what content is hidden on the debut, apart from the demo cassette released last year in the amount of only twenty copies, EP etitled coquettishly "Sex Metal". It features an intro / outro plus five tracks kept in good old heavy / thrash metal style. I mentioned that the band is new at the scene, but the members of the band are hardly newcomers. After all, names such as Black Hosts or Haunted Cenotaph are well-recognized brands in the native underground. Here, the gentlemen decided to pay tribute to the great Polish underground of the 1980s. Yes, I’m writing Polish on purpose, because in Sexmag's music the echoes of such legends as Kat, Destroyers, Wolf Spider or Dragon are most deeply reflected. So there are no technical performances here, but there are a lot of fragments to shake your head with, cutting deep like a razor harmonies, the singer's panicked scream, also in the national language, and old school riffing. And how wonderful the guitars sound on these recordings, you can get goose bumps. Exactly as they once sounded - a bit dry but predatory. There is not much originality in these sounds, and some fragments even touch on a little plagiarism, but everything is so well-tuned, restored and arranged according to grandfather's recipe that it is impossible not to get carried away, nomen omen, by madness. This material is only twenty-five minutes long and each listening session passes like a cumshot, but believe me, listening to "Sex Metal" on a repeat can really make you lose track of time. Especially when the individual tracks have already bitten into your head and you are not able to resist the temptation to ride this time machine even one more time. This material has penetrated me damn deeply and it sits in my head like a splinter under a fingernail, not giving me peace. Catch this EP because it's just great.

Przez lata pracowali ze sobą w zgodzie i harmonii. Teraz nie są w stanie nawet ustalić, kto właściwie kogo był rzucił (skąd ja to znam…). Spółka kompozytorsko-tekściarska Robert Fripp – Peter Sinfield przetrwała rozsypanie się pierwszego składu King Crimson i w ciągu paru lat dostarczyła tak udane płyty, jak „Lizard” i „Islands” – po czym, panowie sobie podziękowali. Fripp zreorganizował King Crimson na nowo, przy współudziale m.in. Billa Bruforda, zaś Sinfield zebrał kilkunastu muzyków, w tym wielu znanych właśnie z karmazynowych płyt, i nagrał zestaw własnych kompozycji. Album „Still” ukazał się w roku 1973. Sinfield planował nadal pracować na własny rachunek, ale w międzyczasie zwerbowali go Emerson Lake & Palmer… Skończyło się na dwóch utworach. Całość dorobku Petera Sinfielda przypomniano na kompakcie „Stillusion”: repertuar „Still” (z pozmienianą kolejnością utworów) plus dwa późniejsze utwory („Can You Forgive A Fool” i „Hanging Fire”) pomieszane z pozostałymi nagraniami. Co zresztą nie jest taką złą decyzją, bo w oryginalnej traciliście najgorszy utwór na płycie następował zaraz po najlepszym.

Z tą płytą są dwa problemy. Pierwszy jest taki, że Peter, oprócz grania na gitarze, tworzenia tekstów i współkomponowania, uparł się też stanąć za mikrofonem – a wokalista z niego, delikatnie mówiąc, średni. Co przy niektórych kompozycjach razi.

Drugi problem to bardzo duży eklektyzm albumu: niektóre kompozycje mogą naprawdę zaszokować fanów King Crimson, do tego rozrzut jakościowy jest bardzo duży. „Will It Be You” to, na ten przykład, …country. I to w mocno pośrednim wydaniu. „Wholefood Boogie” to z kolei próbka zwykłego rockowego grania, wzbogaconego (trochę bez sensu) saksofonowymi popisami. Mówiąc wprost – słaba.

Z drugiej strony, niektóre kompozycje naprawdę się Peterowi udały. Delikatna pieśń „Can You Forgive A Fool”, kunsztownie zinstrumentowana, choć w warstwie tekstowej o dziwo dość banalna. Mroczne, nastrojowe, jazzujące „The Night People” – z dużym udziałem instrumentów dętych, zdecydowanie kingcrimsonowe w nastroju. Ballady – „Hanging Fire” i „The Piper”, obie na gitarę i głos, w tej drugiej dodatkowo pojawia się również karmazynowo zabarwiony flet, „House Of Hopes And Dreams” (ładny fortepian, do tego w finale instrumenty dęte). Dość typowo rockowa „Envelopes Of Yesterday”, przez większość czasu spokojnie krocząca, w finale nabierająca mocy za sprawą gitar i dęciaków. Natchniona, podniosła pieśń, oparta na motywie z Vivaldiego – „The Song Of The Sea Goat”. Z tym bajkowym, ciepłym fletem i fortepianem. I wieńczący całość podniosły rockowy marsz – „Still”, w którym obok Sinfielda przy mikrofonie staje sam Greg Lake. Bardzo ładny, choć jakby zakończony trochę za wcześnie, nie rozwinięty do końca.

Gwoździem płyty jest niewątpliwie „Under The Sky” – kompozycja pamiętająca jeszcze czasy zespołu Giles Giles And Fripp (z późnego okresu działalności, już z McDonaldem w składzie). Tutaj wykonano ją w uroczo psychodeliczny, natchniony sposób, bardzo przypominający kunsztowną „Formentera Lady”: charakterystyczny nastrój, flet, kontrabas, rożek angielski, rozmarzony śpiew… Co ciekawe, na CD „The Cheerful Insanity Of Giles Giles And Fripp” opisano ją jako kompozycję autorstwa Roberta Frippa.

Fani King Crimson po tą płytę sięgną na pewno. A co do pozostałych – jak najbardziej można spróbować, choć eklektyzm tego albumu może być dość męczący.

Przez lata pracowali ze sobą w zgodzie i harmonii. Teraz nie są w stanie nawet ustalić, kto właściwie kogo był rzucił (skąd ja to znam…). Spółka kompozytorsko-tekściarska Robert Fripp – Peter Sinfield przetrwała rozsypanie się pierwszego składu King Crimson i w ciągu paru lat dostarczyła tak udane płyty, jak „Lizard” i „Islands” – po czym, panowie sobie podziękowali. Fripp zreorganizował King Crimson na nowo, przy współudziale m.in. Billa Bruforda, zaś Sinfield zebrał kilkunastu muzyków, w tym wielu znanych właśnie z karmazynowych płyt, i nagrał zestaw własnych kompozycji. Album „Still” ukazał się w roku 1973. Sinfield planował nadal pracować na własny rachunek, ale w międzyczasie zwerbowali go Emerson Lake & Palmer… Skończyło się na dwóch utworach. Oi Polloi to zespoł punkowy, który powstał w 1981 roku w Edynburgu (Szkocja). W 1985 ukazuje się pierwszy materiał - kaseta demo wydana przez zespół - "Destroi the System". Od początku istnienia w zespole grało około 50 muzyków. Z założycieli pozostał tylko Deek - wokalista. Muzyka zespołu ewoluowała od oi do zaangażowanego anarchopunka. Teksty piosenek dotyczą m.in. ochrony środowiska, wyzwolenia zwierząt, wegetarianizmu, zwalczania faszyzmu, brutalności policji. Poza graniem muzyki angażują się w akcje anarchistyczne, ekologiczne oraz ruchu antyfaszystowskiego. Kilkakrotnie odwiedzali Polskę, co zaowocowało dość dobrą znajomością języka polskiego przez Deeka. Ich motto to "No compromise in defense of our earth". Wstawka zawiera kompilacyjny album zespołu zawierający znane z wcześniejszych wydawnictw utwory studyjne jak i zapis koncertu z Edynburga z 1992 roku.
