Neurosis to amerykański zespół muzyczny założony w 1985 roku w Oakland. Grupa zaczynała jako przedstawiciel sceny hardcore punk, jednak z czasem wypracowała własne, charakterystyczne brzmienie, łączące elementy post-metalu, sludge metalu, industrialu i ambientu.
