Czysta, brudna, deathmetalowa perfekcja!
Klasyczny debiut Pungent Stench z 1990 roku zremasterowany! Luksusowe wznowienie 'For God Your Soul… For Me Your Flesh'

If you are taking the time to read this you should just stop and go buy it . Pungent Stench's first full length (not including the split 12" with Disharmonic Orchestra) is nothing but absolute perfection. Released in 1990 in the heyday of the death metal and grind god days this is one that should not have been over looked by any one. If you were around at this time and got this when it was released it would have pissed on most of the stuff you found to be heavy and paved the way for what was to come in the underground.

From the intro that goes into extreme deformity you are about to get blasted in the face with a sonic two ton fucking sledge hammer. Perfection in their guitar sound , bass that is so distorted that you will want to go purchase ear muffs and vocals that were totally unique for this time period ; wait they all were back then weren't they? Their is no denying that this band was perfect!

The blast beats , the unique thrown in quirky yet heavy as fuck changes in their song structure and just get up and slam your self to death , bouncy , groovy , funky sick sick pits makes this one a classic from the first day i got it when it was released. Their is nothing better in the old school scene than this. Praise is just not possible when trying to put this into words!

Make no mistakes , don't second guess , their is absolutely nothing boring or redundant on any early Pungent Stench release. This being their early masterpiece with the likes of Slayers reign in blood , Celtic Frost's morbid tales , Black Sabbath's master of reality it is up their with all the greats and then some. This is what Sabbath's Iommi would have sounded like if he were in an early 90's underground band.

I miss the days of such perfection on vinyl as i'm sure anyone reading this that was there does. You just can't find anything like this anymore and if you could i'm sure in a perfect world to any die hard old school death collecting freak like myself , thank god their aren't millions of albums like this or we'd be broke. All hail the perfection that is for god your soul and pray a band doesn't come along this great ever again because in this world you'll only be able to see them in fucking stadium seating. Pungent , Fucking , Stench!

One more thing try to stay away from the compact disc release because three songs are remastered! If you can't play albums then get it anyway because your still getting seven of the greatest grinding , sludgy , masterpieces you will ever have the privilege of owning ; period.

Limitowany, wydany w niewielkim nakładzie, kolekcjonerski 155-minutowy CD, zawierający głównie świetny i po remasteringu niemal świetnie brzmiący występ z Cleveland, Ohio, z listopada 1971 - zarejestrowany podczas amerykańskiej trasy koncertowej promującej wydany właśnie LP 'Meddle'. Zespół tradycyjnie wykonał swoje najpopularniejsze/najlepsze utwory, m.in. suity Atom Heart Mother i Echoes! To jest PF jaki najbardziej uwielbiam - wciąż eksperymentalny, wciąż jeszcze czarujący psychodelicznym, zdecydowanie rockowym brzmieniem, ale będący w przededniu ogromnego, komercyjnego przełomu. Potem (po 1972 roku) to już nie było to...
Dodatkowo umieszczono zarejestrowaną dwa tygodnie potem, nieco gorzej brzmiącą, ale absolutnie unikalną, aż 27-minutową wersję (niepublikowanego na żadnej, studyjnej płycie) Embryo! Powodem tych dodatkowych 12-15 minut była awaria klawiszy Richarda Wrighta, więc zespół musiał improwizować w trio!

Limitowany, wydany w niewielkim nakładzie, kolekcjonerski 155-minutowy CD, zawierający głównie świetny i po remasteringu niemal świetnie brzmiący występ z Cleveland, Ohio, z listopada 1971 - zarejestrowany podczas amerykańskiej trasy koncertowej promującej wydany właśnie LP 'Meddle'. Zespół tradycyjnie wykonał swoje najpopularniejsze/najlepsze utwory, m.in. suity Atom Heart Mother i Echoes! To jest PF jaki najbardziej uwielbiam - wciąż eksperymentalny, wciąż jeszcze czarujący psychodelicznym, zdecydowanie rockowym brzmieniem, ale będący w przededniu ogromnego, komercyjnego przełomu. Potem (po 1972 roku) to już nie było to...
Dodatkowo umieszczono zarejestrowaną dwa tygodnie potem, nieco gorzej brzmiącą, ale absolutnie unikalną, aż 27-minutową wersję (niepublikowanego na żadnej, studyjnej płycie) Embryo! Powodem tych dodatkowych 12-15 minut była awaria klawiszy Richarda Wrighta, więc zespół musiał improwizować w trio!

Yes, this is the same After the Fire that brought us the English language cover of Falco's "Der Kommisar". Of course, that's the song that they're best known for. Would it surprise you that they actually started off as a prog rock band? That's true! They were a Christian-oriented band but I never found their lyrics proselytizing. In 1978 they released Signs of Life and is nothing like the new wave albums they would release. This is your keyboard-driven prog, lots of Hammond organ and Moog, in the ELP, Genesis, and perhaps Greenslade style, with the occasional venture into English folk influences that's not a million miles away from the likes of Fairport Convention or Steeleye Span (but no female vocals). Keyboardist Peter Banks had to rename himself "Memory" Banks to avoid confusion with the ex-Yes guitarist with the same name. Peter Banks was also in a band called Narnia who released an album called Aslan is not a Tame Lion in 1974.
Given Signs of Life was released in 1978, the band realized that prog was pretty much a dead end. They quickly signed a deal with CBS, and turned to new wave.

Signs of Life, is the only album you need from them if you're a prog rock fan. Unfortunately I didn't find this to be the lost gem of progressive rock, some passages seem a bit insipid to my ears, but it's still worth getting. For the new wave fans of the band (those who enjoy "Der Kommisar"), be prepared for a shock.

More than three decades later, Overkill are still the same feisty, scrappy band heard on their Feel the Fire debut. It's all chronicled on Live at Overhausen, the newest live record coming from the New Jersey blue collar thrashers, which not only revisits the band's first album, but 1991's Horrorscope as well.

On April 16, 2016, Overkill hit the stage at Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen, Germany to revisit the 30th and 25th anniversaries of those two albums respectively, playing them each in full. They're standouts in the Overkill catalog and the fans in Germany got hit with a double dose, but if you weren't there, you can take part in the experience with the performance of "Hammerhead" (seen above) offering the first glimpse of Overkill's live dominance.

Świetnie brzmiąca i atrakcyjnie się prezentująca reedycja nagranego w 1972 roku w Londynie i oryginalnie wydanego prywatnie przez zespół jedynego, za to kapitalnego albumu islandzkiej formacji. Muzycy Svanfridur grali ambitnego i bardzo atmosferycznego, klasycznego rocka progresywnego, z wyraźnymi wpływami psychodelii, folku, jazzu oraz ciężkich brzmień. Muzykę kwartetu można pobieżnie określić jako połączenie stylistyki Jethro Tull (ze znacznie mniejszą ilością fletu), Wishbone Ash, Gnidrolog, Curved Air oraz East Of Eden. Było to zdecydowanie brytyjskie grania, ale z dużą dozą skandynawskiego mroku i melancholii - bardzo wyrafinowane, trochę trudno do ogarnięcia na raz, ale na swój sposób poukładane i wpadające w ucho.
Niemal każdy fan starego, dobrego rocka powinien być tą płytą zachwycony! Obecnie pierwsze wydanie w idealnym stanie warte jest 1000 euro!

They were unable to seal a recording contract, so they formed their own label -- Swan Records. When the album What's Hidden There? was released in autumn 1972, it got mixed reviews and sold only a few hundred copies, leaving the band with a great album, but sadly, not the income they had been hoping for. Recorded at London's Majestic Studios, the album was cut and pressed in England. Perhaps one of the best heavy prog/underground albums from Scandinavia, with amazing guitar and all English vocals. Would have been a famous and successful album on Decca UK. Includes a 12-page booklet.

Vangelis urodził się 29 marca 1943 roku w Agrii koło Wolos, w Grecji. Edukację muzyczną rozpoczął w wieku 4 lat, a już w wieku 6 lat miał swój pierwszy publiczny występ, na którym prezentował własne kompozycje. Vangelis był w dużej części samoukiem - odmawiał pobierania lekcji gry na pianinie, a w ciągu swojej kariery nie zdobył formalnej wiedzy na temat notacji muzycznej. Uczył się muzyki poważnej, malarstwa i reżyserii filmowej na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Atenach. Zyskał światową sławę dzięki swoim wyjątkowym, często epickim kompozycjom, które łączyły elementy muzyki elektronicznej, symfonicznej i rockowej.

No proszę, chciałem to mam. Jeśli pamiętacie, jakieś pięć lat temu Godz ov War wydało EP-kę tego rosyjsko - ukraińskiego tworu, którą to zresztą mocno tutaj polecałem, mając nadzieję, że kolejnym uderzeniem zespół potwierdzi swoją wartość. W międzyczasie panowie przenieśli się za naszą zachodnią granicę, być może z powodów politycznych, ale ostatecznie słowo ciałem się stało, i ponownie nakładem krajowego wydawcy, światło dzienne ujrzy pełen materiał Kadavereich. Jest on w prostej linii kontynuacją stylu znanego z „Radiance of Doom”. O ile w tematyce deathmetalowej wszystko w zasadzie zostało już powiedziane, to jednak co jakiś czas pojawiają się zespoły, które potrafią zagrać „piosenki znane i lubiane” po swojemu. I nie chodzi mi w tym przypadku o kopiowanie, w nawet niewiadomo jak udany sposób, któregokolwiek z klasyków, czy nawet odłam, a twórczość opartą na wielu wzorcach. Kadavereich to taki potwór, który niejedno pożarł, i właśnie tym wszystkim na nas rzyga. Już sam wstęp do otwierającego album „Perversion of the Mysteries” wiele mówi. Niby marszowe rytmy, sugerujące, że za chwilę spadnie nam na głowę tona napalmu, a jednak okraszone melodią z zupełnie innej bajki. To jedynie mała zapowiedź, bo na „Perversa Misteria” namieszane zostało z rozmachem. Chwilami wystawieni jesteśmy na typowo warmetalowe kanonady, gdzie tynk się sypie ze ścian, i nigdzie nie widać ratunku, by za chwilę linie gitarowe kompletnie nas przestroiły nutą na podobieństwo Impetuous Ritual czy Portal. Zresztą sposobów kostkowania usłyszycie tutaj co najmniej kilka. Poza wspomnianymi, bezlitosnymi harmoniami, wymyślonymi onegdaj przez Blasphemy, przez australijskie zawijasy, mocarne, rytmiczne akordy a’la Funebrarum, po zaciągi z Florydy, Nowego Yorku i okolic. A to wszystko tak umiejętnie scalone w nierozerwalny monolit, tak soczyście polane smołą, tak genialnie poskładane, że nic tylko przyklasnąć. Gęstość tych dźwięków to prawdziwa lawa, i bynajmniej różnicy żadnej nie czyni, czy panowie akurat gnają przed siebie na pełnej prędkości, czy zwolnią ostro niczym przestrzegający przepisów drogowych kierowca przed znakiem „stop”, ale bynajmniej nie zlewająca się jedynie w parującą masę. Jeśli bowiem chodzi o selektywność, to wszystko tutaj jest idealnie wręcz selektywne. Oczywiście w stylu organicznym, nie szpitalnym. Do tego wszystkiego dorzucono naprawdę potężne wokale, pogłębiające przesączającą całość grozę. Znalazło się tu miejsce także dla kapki klawiszy, użytych jednak bardzo oszczędnie, i nie jako pozytywka w tle, a budującego napięcie instrumentu, wybrzmiewającego gdzieś w oddali niczym syrena alarmowa. Cholernie mocny album nagrali panowie z Kadavereich. O ile EP-ka dawała jeszcze jakieś szanse na przetrwanie, tak tutaj, kiedy wybrzmiewa ostatni dźwięk, żywej duszy nie widać po sam horyzont. Wszędzie tylko ogień, dym, zgliszcza i przenikające wszystko promieniowanie. Totalna zagłada.
