Choć pilska Qulturka jest zespołem z 20-letnią historią to dopiero obecnie zespół zdecydował się na wydanie swojego albumu we współpracy z wytwórnią fonograficzną.

20 letnie istnienie Qulturki to przede wszystkim doświadczenie nabyte podczas szeregu małych i dużych koncertów, obecności na festiwalach oraz dzielenia sceny m.in. z takimi wykonawcami jak U.K. SUBS, Kult, Armia, Pidżama Porno, Strachy na Lachy, The Vibrators, Farben Lehre, KSU, Moskwa, Habakuk, Alians…
Nie bez znaczenia jest także fakt, że wokalistów Qulturki usłyszeć można na płycie Strachów na Lachy, wokalistka grupy występowała m.in. z takimi zespołami jak KSU, Farben Lehre czy Ga-Ga Zielone Żabki, a w składzie zespołu odnajdujemy muzyków znanych z innej pilskiej grupy Alians.

Płyta o tytule „EKG” wydana przez Jimmy Jazz Records, jest kolejną muzyczną odsłoną dokonań grupy mocno zakorzenionych w punk rocku, ale czerpiących także inspiracje z pozytywnych i skocznych dźwięków ska i reggae. Album przynosi 11 kompozycji, przy których nie sposób oprzeć się wrażeniu, że Qulturka z doskonałym skutkiem podąża droga muzycznych dokonań najlepszych przedstawicieli polskiej sceny punk lat 80 i 90 ub. wieku, podkreślając na co dzień i w tekstach swoje zaangażowanie i wsparcie dla działań antyrasistowskich i ekologicznych.
Obecność doskonale uzupełniających się wokali damskiego i męskiego stanowi specyficzną i rozpoznawalną wizytówkę zespołu, a soczyste gitary, bas oraz akordeon i perkusja budują charakterystyczny styl tworząc mocny ale przyjemny w odbiorze klimat podróży po obszarach, na których dominuje punk oraz jamajska pulsacja.

Po dwudziestu latach działalności Qulturka dołącza z przytupem do grona wykonawców, którzy przez lata budowali doskonała opinię o niezależnym, muzycznym środowisku swojego miasta kojarzonym dotychczas z takimi wykonawcami jak Pidżama Porno, Świat Czarownic, INRI czy Alians.
Album „EKG” dotrze do fanów niemal dokładnie w 20 rocznicę powstania zespołu, podczas specjalnego koncertu który odbędzie się z tej okazji na festiwalu Przystanek Woodstock 31 lipca 2015 roku.

Utwór „M.K.” poświęcony jest pamięci zmarłego Marcina Kornaka (1968-2014), założyciela Stowarzyszenia „NIGDY WIĘCEJ” i inicjatora kampanii „Muzyka Przeciwko Rasizmowi”.

Rzadki, limitowany, dwupłytowy CD zawierający trwający 127 minut, kapitalny występ z Bostonu, z 7 czerwca 1977 roku - obok występu z Oakland (maj 1977) najlepiej brzmiący koncert z trasy promującej LP "Animals". Podobnie jak podczas poprzedniej trasy ("Wish You Were Here" z 1975) nikt związany z Pink Floyd nie zarejestrował wówczas profesjonalnie żadnego koncertu. I znów kilka występów zostało nagranych jakimś cudem 'znienacka' z publiczności, a koncert z Bostonu jest naprawdę wyjątkowy! Zawartość muzyczna również jest po prostu powalająca! Formed in 2013, Pennsylvania musical duo Veilburner have been honing a very special and unique sound, as well as crafting a deeply nuanced storybook universe which has evolved over a span of five full-length releases in an eight year time frame. Drawing from musical elements covering everything from death and black metal to industrial, classical and their trademark blend of bizarre experimental FX and sound layers, Veilburner have somehow managed to corral and refine a seemingly unwieldy assortment of influence and experimentation into an explosive but cohesive musical entity which is distinctly theirs, owing to a discipline of strong songwriting and their insistence on natural flowing rhythm, song and album structures. To complement their otherworldly but digestible musical offering, the thematic side of the project has been crafted from a wide variety of theological, science fiction and occult sources to spin tales about such things as quests for immortality and interdimensional beings communicating and manipulating humanity across time and space.

In 2022, Veilburner present their sixth evolution to the world in the form of a self-titled musical juggernaut, a statement piece simply titled VLBRNR. As usual, Veilburner have composed a complete and addictingly engaging musical experience which can be absorbed in an equally satisfying manner as either a whole or by its individual chapters. Veilburner have reached across their entire back-catalog of experience and thematic lore with one hand, and into a future of untapped potential and unexplored realms with the other, and pulled both into the present to deliver everything you have come to expect from them when their method meets their madness, and more. Expect a plethora of dizzying musical passages and arrangements, a cornucopia of crushing, dense and maniacal progressions.
