Buldożer zwany Drawn and Quartered uderza po raz dziewiąty. Chociaż słowo “uderza” w przypadku tej kapeli, i tego materiału, zdaje się nieco delikatne. Amerykanie nalezą bowiem do gatunku tych, na których można polegać jak na Zawiszy. Nie będę się tym razem bawił w rozpisywanie na tematy związane z biografią czy innymi faktami statystycznymi, powiem krótko. Każdy, kto z niecierpliwością czeka na „Lord of Two Horns”, może spokojnie zluzować zwieracze. Bo jakkolwiek mocno by ich nie zaciskał, i tak poleci po nogawach. Nowy album Kuciemby i spółki to kwintesencja stylu Drawn and Quartered. Może nie jest to materiał z gatunku najdłuższych, bowiem zamyka się w trzydziestu czterech minutach, lecz jego gęstość na pewno przewyższa średnie standardy. Od pierwszej do ostatniej sekundy jesteśmy atakowani riffami. Podkreślam to słowo, riffami! Tutaj nie ma żadnych uzupełniaczy czy przestrzeni międzykomórkowych, tutaj wszystko jest tak gęste i tak mocno się ze sobą zazębia, że podczas odsłuchu tych ośmiu kompozycji naprawdę nie ma najkrótszej chwili na złapanie oddechu. Jak nie akordy o tonażu tankowca, gniotące na miazgę albo rozrywające na strzępy (w zależności od tempa, którym to sobie panowie bardzo swobodnie tasują), to wwiercające się w potylicę solówki, albo melodie, które jak już raz wpadną do głowy, to nie ma siły, by się ich pozbyć. To wszystko dzieje się z taką intensywnością, że chwilami można odnieść wrażenie, jakby na tych nagraniach były przynajmniej trzy, jak nie cztery ścieżki gitar, dwie perkusje, a to wszystko jeszcze potęgowane efektem echa, sprawiającego, że dźwięk atakuje ze wszystkich stron na raz. Do tego oczywiście intensywnie rzygający wokal, będący niczym dodatkowa taczka węgla wrzucanego do pieca i tak już rozpędzonej do granic możliwości lokomotywy. Nie ma szans, żebym zaczął przytaczać tu jakieś konkretne przykłady. Nie mam na to ani ochoty, ani czasu, bo fantastycznych zagrywek jest tu po prostu zbyt wiele. „Lord of Two Horns” to kolejny morderczy deathmetalowy krążek wypuszczony w świat przez zasłużony dla historii gatunku zespół. To krążek, który jest w stanie zachwycić nawet malkontentów, bowiem ciężko znaleźć na nim jakiekolwiek mankamenty. Tak wysokiej klasy metal śmierci tworzą nieliczni. Nie, no kurwa, nie mam nic więcej do dodania. Death Metal at its finest, jak to mawiają za wielką kałużą. Biję, po raz kolejny, najgłębsze pokłony.

Tutaj nie ma żadnych uzupełniaczy czy przestrzeni międzykomórkowych, tutaj wszystko jest tak gęste i tak mocno się ze sobą zazębia, że podczas odsłuchu tych ośmiu kompozycji naprawdę nie ma najkrótszej chwili na złapanie oddechu. Jak nie akordy o tonażu tankowca, gniotące na miazgę albo rozrywające na strzępy (w zależności od tempa, którym to sobie panowie bardzo swobodnie tasują), to wwiercające się w potylicę solówki, albo melodie, które jak już raz wpadną do głowy, to nie ma siły, by się ich pozbyć. To wszystko dzieje się z taką intensywnością, że chwilami można odnieść wrażenie, jakby na tych nagraniach były przynajmniej trzy, jak nie cztery ścieżki gitar, dwie perkusje, a to wszystko jeszcze potęgowane efektem echa, sprawiającego, że dźwięk atakuje ze wszystkich stron na raz. Do tego oczywiście intensywnie rzygający wokal, będący niczym dodatkowa taczka węgla wrzucanego do pieca i tak już rozpędzonej do granic możliwości lokomotywy. Nie ma szans, żebym zaczął przytaczać tu jakieś konkretne przykłady. Nie mam na to ani ochoty, ani czasu, bo fantastycznych zagrywek jest tu po prostu zbyt wiele. „Lord of Two Horns” to kolejny morderczy deathmetalowy krążek wypuszczony w świat przez zasłużony dla historii gatunku zespół. To krążek, który jest w stanie zachwycić nawet malkontentów, bowiem ciężko znaleźć na nim jakiekolwiek mankamenty. Tak wysokiej klasy metal śmierci tworzą nieliczni. Nie, no kurwa, nie mam nic więcej do dodania. Death Metal at its finest, jak to mawiają za wielką kałużą. Biję, po raz kolejny, najgłębsze pokłony.
