Leon Russell (właśc. Claude Russell Bridges; ur. 2 kwietnia 1942 w Lawton, zm. 13 listopada 2016 w Nashville) był amerykańskim pianistą, wokalistą, kompozytorem i producentem muzycznym, uznawanym za jedną z kluczowych postaci rocka, bluesa i muzyki country. Karierę rozpoczął jako ceniony muzyk sesyjny, współpracując z wieloma gwiazdami lat 60., zanim rozpoczął działalność solową. Szeroką rozpoznawalność przyniósł mu udział w trasie Mad Dogs & Englishmen Tour z Joe Cocker, gdzie pełnił rolę lidera zespołu i aranżera. Jego twórczość łączyła różne gatunki - od rocka i gospel po blues i country - a charakterystyczny styl gry na fortepianie oraz chropowaty wokal stały się jego znakiem rozpoznawczym.
