Wydany w 1972 roku przez niemiecki oddział Epic, jedyny, za to kapitalny album, zawierający porywająco wykonaną, bogato zaaranżowaną i typową dla Niemiec, progresywną muzykę opartą na współbrzmieniu organów, elektrycznych i akustycznych gitar, fletu, saksofonu a przypominającą kombinację stylistyki m.in. Jane, Out Of Focus i Murphy Blend. Zespół czerpał z różnych źródeł; czasem brzmiał niemal hardrockowo, innym razem zbliżał się do stylistyki jazz-rocka, bądź też wykazywał fascynacje twórczością Pink Floyd i Jethro Tull. Generalnie płyta powinna zachwycić wszystkich fanów starego, dobrego, soczystego grania. For a 1972 album,I would list it among the best of its time,as it was certainly one of the most varied,diverse and dynamic albums of the year,delivering a great amount of styles,instruments and tempos.There is plenty of tasteful driving flutes,heavy doses of Hammond organ,jazzy saxes here and there and even some harmonica touches to be found in this,making ''Subject esq'' a hard to categorize album,but on the other side one of the most interesting releases of the early progressive rock scene.Hard is also to fully decribe their sound,but a good simulation would if you combined the progressive side of BIRTH CONTROL with all these energetic and complex elements,meeting the vocal harmonies of YES in their 1970-1971 transition era and the elaborated playing of early 70's CARAVAN.So do not pass by this fantastic release,which would heal your ears and fill your time with some excellent music.A lost and overlooked treasure of the past!

To jest jedna z dosłownie kilku najlepszych rockowych płyt zrealizowanych w Japonii na początku lat 70-tych! Wydany pod koniec 1970 roku debiut tego japońskiego klawiszowca (nagrany m.in. z członkami Speed Glue & Shinki oraz Flied Egg) to autentycznie bardzo zróżnicowana muzyka (od ciężkiego, porywającego rocka aż wczesny fusion aż po klasycyzujące, delikatne miniatury) oparta z reguły na brzmieniu organów Hammonda, wirtuozerskim, melodyjnym, ale ciepłym brzmieniu skrzypiec i ciężkim, momentami mocno przesterowanej gitary świetnego Kimio Mizutani (grającego trochę w stylu gitarzysty Can), ale pojawia się również brzmienie skrzypiec a nawet klawesynu. Ten w całości instrumentalny album (wart na megarzadkim oryginale wytwórni Liberty 1000-1200 dolarów) jest po prostu porywający, aczkolwiek jeszcze lepiej wchodzi po kilku przesłuchaniach! No i ta kapitalna okładka (z kopią oryginalnego insertu zreprodukowanego wewnątrz rozkładanego bookletu)... Świetny, klarowny dźwięk - nieco lepszy niż na wcześniejszych edycjach!

To jest jedna z dosłownie kilku najlepszych rockowych płyt zrealizowanych w Japonii na początku lat 70-tych! Wydany pod koniec 1970 roku debiut tego japońskiego klawiszowca (nagrany m.in. z członkami Speed Glue & Shinki oraz Flied Egg) to autentycznie bardzo zróżnicowana muzyka (od ciężkiego, porywającego rocka aż wczesny fusion aż po klasycyzujące, delikatne miniatury) oparta z reguły na brzmieniu organów Hammonda, wirtuozerskim, melodyjnym, ale ciepłym brzmieniu skrzypiec i ciężkim, momentami mocno przesterowanej gitary świetnego Kimio Mizutani (grającego trochę w stylu gitarzysty Can), ale pojawia się również brzmienie skrzypiec a nawet klawesynu. Ten w całości instrumentalny album (wart na megarzadkim oryginale wytwórni Liberty 1000-1200 dolarów) jest po prostu porywający, aczkolwiek jeszcze lepiej wchodzi po kilku przesłuchaniach! No i ta kapitalna okładka (z kopią oryginalnego insertu zreprodukowanego wewnątrz rozkładanego bookletu)... Świetny, klarowny dźwięk - nieco lepszy niż na wcześniejszych edycjach!
