Vangelis (gr. Βαγγέλης), właśc. Ewangelos Odiseas Papatanasiu (gr. Ευάγγελος Οδυσσέας Παπαθανασίου; ur. 29 marca 1943 w Agrii koło Wolos, zm. 17 maja 2022 w Paryżu - grecki kompozytor muzyki elektronicznej i filmowej. Vangelis urodził się 29 marca 1943 roku w Agrii koło Wolos, w Grecji. Edukację muzyczną rozpoczął w wieku 4 lat, a już w wieku 6 lat miał swój pierwszy publiczny występ, na którym prezentował własne kompozycje. Vangelis był w dużej części samoukiem - odmawiał pobierania lekcji gry na pianinie, a w ciągu swojej kariery nie zdobył formalnej wiedzy na temat notacji muzycznej. Uczył się muzyki poważnej, malarstwa i reżyserii filmowej na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Atenach. Zyskał światową sławę dzięki swoim wyjątkowym, często epickim kompozycjom, które łączyły elementy muzyki elektronicznej, symfonicznej i rockowej. Odes to pierwszy studyjny album Irene Papas z 1979 roku, nagrany przy współudziale Vangelisa. Na płycie, obok tradycyjnych pieśni greckich, znalazły się dwa utwory instrumentalne skomponowane przez Vangelisa: La Danse du Feu i Racines.

Wokalista System Of A Down kontynuuje solową działalność, podążając tą samą drogą, którą obrał przy okazji epki „Foundations” z 2024 roku: wyciąga z szuflady od dawna nagrane rzeczy, dokłada kilka nowo zarejestrowanych utworów i kompletuje album pt: „Covers, Collaborations & Collages”. 22 sierpnia 2025 roku w strimingu pojawia się utwór „Electric Dreams”. Przez następne dziesięć tygodni w sieci pojawia się cyklicznie jeszcze dziewięć kompozycji – ostatnią jest „When Death Arrives” – wypuszczona w dniu premiery całego albumu – 23 października 2025 roku. Aby nadać muzyce wizualny wymiar, okładkę każdego singla stworzył DS Bradford – artysta, który odpowiada również za partie gitary prowadzącej w utworze „Kneeling Away From The Sun”.

Zacznijmy (zgodnie z tytułem) od kowerów. Są dwa: “I'm Counting On You” z repertuaru Chrisa de Burgh oraz utwór armeńskiego śpiewaka Rubena Hakhverdyana, zamykający całość, wspomniany „When Death Arrives”. Następnie otrzymujemy trzy utwory we współpracy: „A Seed” (z udziałem Deadmau5), „Things Unspoken” (z wokalnym wsparciem Big Runga), a także Apocalyptic Dance (skomponowany przez Lucasa Vidala). Pięć pozostałych utworów to rzeczy z szuflady Tankiana: „Podobnie jak w przypadku ‘Foundations’, to już istniejące nagrania archiwalne; niektóre z nich pochodzą sprzed wielu lat. Chciałem wydać płytę z utworami, których wcześniej nie publikowałem, a także dograć covery, które chodziły mi po głowie.. Reszta – kolaże - to elementy całości, utrzymane w tym samym tonie i klimacie”.

Trudno pisać o produkcji tego albumu, bo takowej zwyczajnie nie ma. Całość brzmi jak wprawki, szkice. Szczególnie słyszalne jest to w utworach autorstwa wyłącznie Tankiana, gdzie mamy tylko piano i głos artysty.

Expulsados to argentyński zespół punkrockowy założony w 1993 roku w miejscowości Banfield, w partii Lomas de Zamora, w prowincji Buenos Aires. Początkowy skład tworzyli: Sebastian (wokal), Miguel Montiel (gitara), Juan Novoa (bas) i Guillermo Beatriche (perkusja). Ich debiut sceniczny odbył się 25 maja 1993 roku w szkole Paideia w Temperley. Na ich twórczość wpływ miały m.in. amerykański zespół punkowy Ramones, którego utwory wykonywali w wersjach własnych, a także inne grupy z lat 60. i 70., takie jak Buzzcocks, The Kinks, The Who, The Damned, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, Beach Boys i inne. Wydali osiem albumów studyjnych i dwie EPki. Wstawka zawiera czwarty album studyjny zespołu.

Kaotiko to grupa punkowa z Salvatierra, Alava, Kraj Basków, Hiszpania. Zespół powstał pod koniec 1999 roku w Salvatierra. Trzech jego członków (Aguayo, Fonta i Aguayiko) pochodzi z grupy Kaos Etiliko. We wrześniu 2001 roku wydali swój pierwszy album „Mundo kaotiko”. W kwietniu 2003 roku ukazała się ich druga płyta „Raska y pierde”. Mając na koncie te dwa albumy, 17 kwietnia zdecydowali się nagrać DVD w sali Azkena w Vitorii, które ostatecznie zostało wydane 14 marca. Z nową wytwórnią pojawił się album „Destino escrito”. Wstawka zawiera dziewiąty album studyjny zespołu.
