Po blisko czterech latach od wydania debiutanckiego albumu "Protocol Of Dying" Shodan otwiera nowy rozdział. Nie oglądając sie na panujące na scenie trendy, sugestie i oczekiwania zespół pozwolił muzyce po prostu płynąć.

Nowy album "Death, Rule Over Us" stanowi stylistyczną i wykonawczą ewolucję w stronę złożonych, progresywnych kompozycji, odważniejszego czerpania z nurtów zimnej fali i naturalnego, organicznego brzmienia. Zespół pomimo eksperymentów i eklektyce pozostał wierny death metalowemu szkieletowi na którym buduje nową muzykę. Za mix i mastering odpowiada Jakub Mańkowski (Entropia, Obscure Sphinx, Me and that Man), natomiast okładka stworzona została przez Łukasza Pacha (Pachu Design).
