„Serce głupca” to białoruski zespół muzyczny z miasta Mohylew, którego repertuar składa się z piosenek stałego autora i wokalisty Timofieja Jarowikowa. Od 2002 roku zespół wydał trzy albumy studyjne, trzy single i jedną składankę Go to the Discography, a także sześć teledysków Go to the Clips. Nazwa grupy pojawiła się pod wpływem pracy o tym samym tytule autorstwa Jamesa Goodwina. 19 października 2016 na oficjalnej stronie zespołu ogłoszono, że zespół przestał istnieć w obecnym składzie.

W 1998 roku młody poeta Timofey Yarovikov zaczął pojawiać się w nieformalnych kręgach w Mohylewie. Aktywnie pisał teksty dla kilku lokalnych zespołów jednocześnie i wkrótce został zaproszony do jednego z nich jako wokalista. Grupa „Crossroads of Shadows” występowała w stylu „yard rocka” i, istniejąc zaledwie kilka lat, rozpadła się. Timofey nie zrezygnował jednak z pomysłu założenia własnego zespołu i przez kolejne dwa lata kontynuował naukę gry na gitarze, koncertował solo.

W maju 2002 r. Od muzyków innej mohylewskiej grupy „Glitches” Yarovikov zebrał nowy zespół. Postanowiono nazwać grupę „Serce głupca”. 22 maja 2002 roku debiut zespołu odbył się w mohylewskim klubie rockowym „Sektor”. W latach 2002-2003 skład zespołu kilkakrotnie się zmieniał. Zespół nieustannie poszukiwał nowych form muzycznych. Na początku 2004 roku skład grupy ustabilizował się i wystąpiła na ósmym dorocznym festiwalu poetyckiego rocka „Dazhd” w Moskwie.

W kwietniu 2005 roku grupa wzięła udział w festiwalu młodych wykonawców rocka w Mohylewie „Second Echelon”. Krytycy zauważyli, że wraz z przybyciem młodszego brata Timofieja, Pawła Jarowikowa, grupa wzbogaciła się o aranżacje, wzmocniono prezentację, a także nabyła elementy widowiska. Od 2005 do 2007 roku „Fool's Heart” występował na corocznym festiwalu najlepszych grup Mohylewa – „Headline Fest”. W październiku 2006 roku grupa wydała swój debiutancki singiel „Na początek początku”, a następnie wyruszyła w trasę promującą go.

W 2009 roku grupa zaprezentowała swój debiutancki album długogrający „Childhood” w Moskwie i Mohylewie, a także została laureatem festiwalu „Mass Medium Fest-2009”. W związku z zaostrzeniem harmonogramu koncertów zespołu, prawie całkowicie zmienił się skład zespołu. W 2010 roku odbyła się prezentacja minialbumu „Sky-Ceiling”, nagranego latem w Mohylewie. Grupa wzięła udział w festiwalu „VertiFest”, po czym udała się na krótką wycieczkę po miastach Ukrainy.

W 2011 roku „Serce głupca” otrzymało dyplom za album „Dzieciństwo”, który znalazł się w finale konkursu ZorkiText na najlepsze teksty piosenek białoruskich. 31 grudnia grupa zaprezentowała dyptyk internetowy „Styczeń. Gile. Na początku 2012 roku w zespole doszło do kolejnej zmiany kadrowej. Potem pojawił się pierwszy oficjalny film. Stali się teledyskiem do piosenki „Styczeń”. 7 października 2012 r. w mińskim klubie „Graffiti” odbyła się prezentacja albumu „X”, opublikowanego w wytwórni „Vigma”. Płyta jest zbiorem najlepszych nagrań studyjnych zespołu przez cały okres jego istnienia. Kompozycja „Dobry wiatr” została włączona do kolekcji „Rock from Gateways-5”, powstałej w wyniku konkursu dla młodych lub mało znanych zespołów i wykonawców, który odbył się na stronie internetowej grupy Pilot.

W 2013 roku ukazał się singiel „Mohylewskaja”, do którego później nakręcono teledysk. W następnym roku zespół występował jednocześnie na kilku festiwalach, m.in. Shokofest, Ban, OZ-Rock czy Kak Fest. W 2015 roku grupa zaprezentowała album antyreggae „Lion's Grave”, a także wzięła udział w festiwalu „Jesienny Wodospad” w Woroneżu. W lutym 2016 ukazał się trzeci klip zespołu „Snegiri”. W marcu uruchomiono projekt crowdfundingowy, a dwa miesiące później pomyślnie zakończono zbiórkę funduszy na nowy album grupy „War and Love”, który został zaprezentowany wiosną.

19 października 2016 na oficjalnej stronie zespołu ogłoszono, że zespół przestał istnieć w obecnym składzie.

Terry Bozzio first got his start as the drummer for Frank Zappa's backing band during the '70s, but would go on to become one of rock's most versatile session men, and form one of new wave's most visually exciting outfits, Missing Persons, along with then-wife, Dale Bozzio.

A phenomenally skilled jazz and rock drummer, Chad's professional career began in 1978 with the Bill Watrous band. Since then he has amassed a remarkable body of work including a seven year association with Frank Zappa, with whom he toured the USA and Europe and recorded 26 albums.

Recorded live at Musician’s Institute, Hollywood, CA, 'Solos & Duets' features the incredible drumming of two of today’s most exciting drum artists, Terry Bozzio (Frank Zappa, Missing Persons, Steve Vai) and Chad Wackerman (Men At Work, Frank Zappa, Allan Holdsworth). Poprzednie dokonanie Wędrowców~Tułaczy~Zbiegów – czyli „Marynistyka Suchego Lądu” – niemal natychmiast zyskało miano bodaj najważniejszego w karierze osiągnięcia tego projektu. Od premiery ww. albumu do wydania nowego materiału minęło niespełna 10 miesięcy. Każde z poprzednich wydawnictw W~T~Z pojawiało się w cyklu dwuletnich odstępów. Skrócona przerwa nie wpłynęła jednak na zawartość „Berliner Vulkan”; wydana właśnie EPka to rzecz autonomiczna, bezkompromisowo odważna, kompletna i pozbawiona fałszywych nut.

Wykorzystanie „Nieporozumienia” jako singla było trafną strategicznie decyzją. Utwór stanowi swego rodzaju pomost między światem przedstawionym z „Marynistyki…” a najnowszym dokonaniem. Jednakże już drugi numer z „Berliner…” rzuca nowe światło na album. Liryki są pełne oniryzmu i pewnej ulotnej, niezdefiniowanej duchowości. Na próżno szukać tu ironizowania czy wulgaryzmów, będących przecież przez wiele lat ważną składową swoistej przaśności poprzednich dokonań W~T~Z. Nie oznacza to jednak, że trywializmu nie uświadczymy – pierwsza część trzeciego w kolejności nagrania jednoznacznie kojarzy się dźwiękowo z aurą zakrapianych dancingów z podrzędnych polskich knajp przełomu lat 80. i 90. ubiegłego wieku.

„Berliner Vulkan” dystansuje się od poprzednich dokonań W~T~Z w sposób ryzykowny. Sars artystycznie nadal zmierza w kierunku znanym odbiorcy jego twórczości, unikając jednak ścieżki, którą sam dotychczas wydeptywał. Wykorzystane barwy syntezatorów i rytmy z automatu perkusyjnego mimowolnie kojarzą się bardziej z brzmieniami wydobywanymi z sekwenserów Kraftwerk, Władysława Komendarka czy Marka Bilińskiego, niż z wczesnymi melodiami Depeche Mode serwowanymi przez Martina Gore’a. Pełen goryczy romantyzm odbiera się tutaj podskórnie, najlepiej przy przygaszonym świetle bądź w kompletnej ciemności.

Pod każdy nagrany syntezator śmiało można byłoby podłożyć zarówno wokal kojarzący się z Duran Duran, jak i zaśpiewy w stylu Jaza Colemana. Muzyczna zawartość „Berliner Vulkan” plasuje się bowiem gdzieś pomiędzy new romantic wymieszanym niechlujnie z post-punkiem, a poezją śpiewaną i estetyką rodem z filmów noir. Odpowiadający za wokal Stawrogin (m.in.: Odraza, Gruzja) właśnie na tym materiale wspina się na wyżyny swojego, nazwanego przewrotnie w INFOrmacji prasowej, piosenkarstwa. Na „Berliner Vulkan” jego głos rządzi i dzieli – w pięciu nagranych utworach dominuje czysty śpiew o zdefiniowanej, nieprzeciętnej barwie. Nie mogę wyobrazić sobie innego głosu potrafiącego w należyty sposób udźwignąć materię zawartą w tekstach nadwornego tekściarza W~T~Z, czyli Dominika (m.in.: Licho). Jego liryki zestawione z barwą i charyzmą Stawrogina stanowią jedność. Współpraca obu artystów to przykuwająca uwagę symbioza, od której nie sposób się oderwać. Niniejszym, Stawrogin z utalentowanego krzykacza staje się jednym z najbardziej ukształtowanych, świadomych wokalistów aktualnej, trwającej właśnie fali polskiej muzyki alternatywnej.

Wszystkie OPISane powyżej elementy tworzą całość, która zostaje w pamięci na długo. EPka kończy się w chwili, gdy odbiorca jest już całkowicie pochłonięty wykreowanym światem przedstawionym, pozostawiając odpowiednie poczucie niedosytu. Wędrowcy~Tułacze~Zbiegi nie nagrali dotychczas w trakcie swojej kariery żadnego przeciętnego materiału. „Berliner Vulkan” to prawdopodobnie najlepsze dokonanie W~T~Z i bez wątpienia najważniejsze pięć utworów, jakie przyszło mi dotychczas recenzować – murowany kandydat do tytułu polskiego minialbumu roku.

Wędrowcy~Tułacze~Zbiegi lubią zaskakiwać. Ledwie osłuchaliśmy się z bardzo ciekawym materiałem z "Marynistyki suchego lądu", a już muzycy prezentują kolejne, tym razem nieco krótsze wydawnictwo. Berlin, taneczna elektronika, energia, lata 80... o co chodzi tym razem?

Stolica Niemiec przez wielu uważana jest za kolebkę muzyki tanecznej. Znajduje się tutaj ogromna liczba klubów techno, tutaj David Bowie - zachwycony dokonaniami Kraftwerk - nagrał przełomowe albumy i wciąż przybywają tutaj artyści, którzy chcą rozwijać się w tej dziedzinie muzyki. Nic więc dziwnego, że ta kopalnia inspiracji stała się bodźcem twórczym również dla Wędrowców.

Na "Berliner Vulkan" mamy pięć kolejno ponumerowanych piosenek, które z początku mogą budzić konsternację, szczególnie u osób, które znają poprzednie dokonania grupy. Z każdym kolejnym odsłuchem coraz bardziej wchodzą jednak w głowę. Jest inaczej, ale bardzo ciekawie i bardzo chwytliwie i w sumie właśnie taka muzyka idealnie nadaje się na okres wakacyjny. Zespół nagrał ten album w trzyosobowym składzie - muzykę skomponował Sars, piosenki zaśpiewał Stawrogin, a teksty napisał Dominik. Znów mamy zagadkowy tytuł, nieoczywistą muzykę i surrealistyczne frazy. Niepokojące wersy zostały zestawione z bardzo energetyczną, przebojową elektroniką.

Słucha się tego fantastycznie, a jeszcze lepiej się do tego tańczy. To dźwięki, które świetnie sprawdzą się na alternatywnej imprezie, a jednocześnie takie, które skłonią do refleksji i zastanowienia nad kondycją świata, niepewną przyszłością i wzbudzą poczucie zagrożenia. Słuchając "Berliner Vulkan", wyraźnie da się odczuć, że muzycy nie stoją w miejscu. Wciąż szukają inspiracji i nowych, oryginalnych pomysłów, by wyrazić to, co myślą i czują.

Podobnie jak na ubiegłorocznej "Marynistyce Suchego Lądu", mamy do czynienia z wszechobecnym mrokiem, tyle że podanym nieco inaczej, w krótszej, bardziej oszczędnej i zwartej formie. Wykorzystano inne środki wyrazu, ale klimat pozostał właściwie bez zmian. To bardzo przystępny materiał, śmiało nawiązujący do stylistyki lat 80. ubiegłego wieku, ale zachowujący wyjątkowy charakter.

"Berliner Vulkan" pomost pomiędzy retro brzmieniami a współczesną elektroniką, który spodoba się fanom nie tylko post-punkowej i zimnofalowej stylistyki czy dźwięków spod znaku Kraftwerk, lecz także poszukiwaczom mroku, eksperymentów i wszystkim tym, którzy cenią emocje, oryginalność i bezkompromisowość. Wszystko to zostało zabarwione szczyptą dobrego humoru, przywodzącego na myśl działalność Piotra Fronczewskiego w ramach projektu Franek Kimono.

Jedyną wadą tej płyty jest jej długość. Jest treściwie i intensywnie, ale osiemnaście minut to za mało, by w pełni nacieszyć się koncepcją. Album kończy się zdecydowanie za szybko, pozostawiając niedosyt. Z drugiej strony jest to świetna okazja, by zapętlać tę EP-kę w nieskończoność lub wrócić do poprzednich wydawnictw grupy. Po prostu usiąść, odpocząć i posłuchać muzyki na przekór wszystkiemu, co nas otacza.
