Kajagoogoo – brytyjski zespół założony w 1979 roku, grający muzykę z pogranicza synth pop i new romantic.

Grupa została założona w 1979 roku przez basistę Nicka Beggsa (ur. w 1961) jako Art Nouveau. W pierwszym składzie znaleźli się wspomniany Nick Beggs, Steve Askew (gitara), Stuart Neale (keyboard) i Jez Strode (perkusja). Panowie poznali się w Barnfield College w Luton. W 1981 roku zespół wydał jedyny singiel Fear Machine, zawierający utwór tytułowy oraz piosenkę Animal Instincts. Ówczesny wygląd zespołu charakteryzowały długie włosy muzyków. Początkowo kwartet nie odnosił sukcesów i nie mógł się przebić, dlatego muzycy postanowili zmienić styl muzyczny na bardziej komercyjny. Zespół potrzebował jeszcze głównego wokalisty, a zarazem frontmana. Po ogłoszeniu zamieszczonym w Melody Maker w 1982 roku, w trakcie przesłuchań na wokalistę został wybrany Limahl (Chris Hamill, ur. w 1958). Zespół zmienił również swój wizerunek i nazwę na Kajagoogoo, będące po drobnej zmianie fonetycznym zapisem pierwszych słów niemowlęcia: „GagaGooGoo”.

W 1982 roku, po koncercie w Embassy Club w Londynie, podpisali kontrakt z EMI. 1983 rok przyniósł pierwszy singiel Too Shy oraz pierwszy album długogrający White Feathers. Zawarta na nich muzyka to synth-pop, wszystkie teksty napisali Beggs, Limahl lub obaj wspólnie. Kajagoogoo z Limahlem bardzo szybko stali się jednymi z najbardziej popularnych wykonawców w Wielkiej Brytanii. Ówcześnie byli znani z charakterystycznego stylu, który tworzyły kolorowe, „nastroszone” fryzury i kolorowe ubiory. W tym samym roku zespół zaplanował swoją pierwszą amerykańską trasę. Jednak przed jej rozpoczęciem z zespołu został wydalony Limahl, który następnie postanowił rozpocząć karierę solową. Głównym wokalistą został Nick Beggs, a zespół zamierzał tworzyć bardziej poważny repertuar. Również ubiory zespołu stały się mniej krzykliwe.

W 1984 roku pod przewodnictwem basisty Nicka Beggsa zespół nagrał swoją drugą płytę długogrającą, zatytułowaną Islands. Wszystkie teksty napisał Beggs. Album ukazał się również w USA pod tytułem Extra Play, a nazwę zespołu skrócono do Kaja. W 1985 roku z zespołu odszedł Jez Strode. Pozostali zadecydowali, by dalej działać jako trio. Po przeprowadzce do Kalifornii nagrali kolejny, trzeci już album Crazy Peoples Right to Speak. Płyta ta odzwierciedlała bardziej rockowe ambicje jej członków, ale nie znalazła uznania w oczach wytwórni EMI. W 1986 roku zespół postanowił zawiesić swoją działalność.

W 2003 roku na potrzeby stacji telewizyjnej VH1, odbył się koncert zespołu w oryginalnym składzie zatytułowany Bands Reunited. Mimo tego podejścia pełna reaktywacja nie udała się i grupa występowała jako trio, w którym wokalistą nadal pozostawał Nick Beggs. Wraz z wieloma innymi gwiazdami lat 80. zespół wystąpił 2 września 2007 na festiwalu RetroFest, nieopodal zamku Culzean w Szkocji.

Na 2008 rok zaplanowano wydanie premierowego albumu studyjnego, który został zatytułowany Gone To The Moon.

Do największych przebojów Kajagoogoo zalicza się takie utwory jak Too Shy, Ooh To Be Ahh, Turn Your Back On Me, Lion's Mouth, Big Apple.

Pod koniec lutego 2008, trio Kaja rozpoczęło rozmowy z Limahlem i Jezem Strodem. Od 28 lutego 2008 zespół istnieje znów jako Kajagoogoo, a w jego skład wchodzi cała znakomita piątka muzyków: Christopher Hamill (Limahl) – wokal, Nick Beggs – gitara basowa, Jez Strode – perkusja, Stuart Croxford Neale – keyboard, oraz Steve Askew – gitara elektryczna. Umowę między muzykami podpisano 7 kwietnia 2008.

Cugini di Campagna – włoski zespół muzyczny, grający muzykę popową i rockową, założony w 1970 roku w Rzymie w składzie: Ivano Michetti – gitara, gitara basowa, aranżacja utworów, Silvano Michetti – instrumenty klawiszowe, instrumenty perkusyjne, śpiew, Flavio Paulin – śpiew, Gianni Fiori – perkusja.

Aktualny skład zespołu (2015): Silvano Michetti – Tiziano Leonardi – Ivano Michetti – Daniel Colangeli.

Zespół powstał w Rzymie w 1970 roku, kiedy został zaangażowany do wytwórni płytowej Pull, należącej do Bruno Zambriniego i Gianniego Mecci. Pierwszym przebojem zespołu stała się piosenka „Il ballo di Peppe”, wylansowana dzięki programowi telewizyjnemu Alto gradimento, prowadzonemu przez Gianniego Boncompagniego i Renzo Arbore.

Kolejny sukces zespół zanotował w 1973 roku lansując własną kompozycję „Anima mia” (A. De Santis/F. Paulin/I. Michetti), w której wyróżniał się śpiewający charakterystycznym falsetem Flavio Paulin. W marcu 1974 roku piosenka weszła na pierwsze miejsce włoskiej listy przebojów Hit Parade italia. i Na liście najlepiej sprzedawanych singli tego samego roku piosenka zajęła czwarte miejsce.

Kolejne udane single zespołu to: „Dentro l'anima” (1978), „Solo con te”, „Meravigliosamente” (1979), „Metallo”, „No tu no” (1980), „Valeria” (1981). Wydany w 1980 roku album Metallo osiągnął rekordową liczbę sprzedanych egzemplarzy spośród wszystkich albumów grupy. Zespół dał wiele koncertów, które ugruntowały jego popularność.

W 1997 roku, po trwających blisko dekadę koncertach na całym świecie zespół powrócił na scenę dzięki transmitowanemu w telewizji programowi Anima mea, prowadzonemu przez Fabio Fazio i Claudio Baglioniego. Dużym sukcesem okazało się wprowadzenie na włoską listę przebojów Hit Parade Italia dwóch albumów: Anima mia i La nostra vera storia (odpowiednio pozycja nr 92 i 151 na liście albumów roku. Program Anima mea przyczynił się również do wylansowania albumu Amor mio (1998), zawierającego tekst papieża Karola Wojtyły wykorzystany w utworze „La nostra terra”. W 2002 roku ukazała się podwójna kompilacja Una storia infinita, zawierająca niepublikowane wcześniej nagrania zespołu.

XX wieku, kiedy współpracował z kompozytorem i autorem tekstów Giancarlo Bigazzim. Ich najbardziej znanym przebojem był „Non si può morire dentro” z 1976 roku, sprzedany w liczbie 2 milionów kopii.

5-krotnie występował na Festiwalu Piosenki Włoskiej w San Remo, ale bez powodzenia. Jego siostra, Marcella jest piosenkarką.

Aurora, właśc. Aurora Aksnes (ur. 15 czerwca 1996 w Stavanger) – norweska piosenkarka i autorka piosenek.

Urodziła się 15 czerwca 1996 w Stavanger w Norwegii. Jej rodzicami są May Britt i Jan Øystein Aksnes. Ma dwie starsze siostry, Mirandę, która jest wizażystką i Viktorię, projektantkę mody. Wychowywała się w Os. Zaczęła tworzyć melodie w wieku 6 lat, a mając 9 lat pisała pierwsze teksty.

Pierwsza piosenka Aurory „Puppet” została wydana w grudniu 2012. W maju 2013 ukazał się utwór „Awakening”. Jej pierwszy singel „Under Stars” został wydany w listopadzie 2014, a w lutym 2015 kolejny, „Runaway”. Drugi singel osiągnął sukces w Wielkiej Brytanii; w serwisie muzycznym Spotify uzyskał milion odsłuchań w ciągu 6 tygodni.

Mieszka w Bergen, ale regularnie podróżuje do swojego rodzinnego miasta w Os, aby odwiedzić swoich rodziców. Uważa się za introwertyka. W młodym wieku doświadczyła utraty kilku bliskich. Kiedy w Wigilię zmarł bliski przyjaciel jej rodziny, 11-letnia Aurora musiała być świadkiem przygnębienia wszystkich na pogrzebie. To doświadczenie doprowadziło ją do rozwoju zaburzeń mowy, które skłoniło ją do nauki języka migowego. Kiedy koleżanka z jej lekcji języka migowego zginęła w wypadku samochodowym, Aurora wykonała niewydaną jeszcze piosenkę zatytułowaną „Why Did You Go a Place?” podczas prywatnego koncertu na jej pogrzebie. Przyjaciel z Os również popełnił samobójstwo, a inny, z którym Aurora była w związku, stracił życie w 2011 roku w masakrze w Utøya w wieku siedemnastu lat. Aurora napisała piosenkę „Little Boy in the Grass” jako hołd dla tego ostatniego i innych ofiar masakry.

Mattafix – brytyjski zespół muzyczny, powstały w 2005 roku, grający muzykę alternatywną, niekiedy określaną nową falą bluesa, alternatywnym hip-hopem lub R&B; w ich muzyce pojawiają się również brzmienia reggae oraz elementy tradycyjnej muzyki hinduskiej. W skład zespołu wchodzą Marlon Roudette i Preetesh Hirji. Rodzice Preetesha pochodzą z Indii, a Matka Marlona z Karaibów. Obaj urodzili się jednak w Anglii. Marlon, jako dziecko, przeprowadził się z matką do jej ojczyzny. Do Londynu powrócił jako nastolatek. Tam spotkał Preetesha, który pracował w studiu nagraniowym. Razem zaczęli realizować wspólne wizje nowego dźwięku.

Duet zasłynął w Europie i na świecie dzięki "Big City Life", który zdobył czołowe miejsca na wielu listach przebojów. Zespół zdobył dzięki niemu Bursztynowego Słowika na Sopot Festival 2006.

Nazwa zespołu pochodzi od dawnego wschodniohinduskiego powiedzenia "matter-fix", co oznacza dosłownie "załatwione", "nie ma sprawy".

W 2011 roku Marlon Roudette rozpoczął karierę solową.
