Amerykański Midnight przez większą część życia funkcjonował jako one man band pod wodzą niejakiego Athenara, do którego przed wydaniem drugiej płyty dołączył kolega o wdzięcznej ksywie SS. Projekt powstał w 2003 roku i w zamyśle miał grać miks black metalu ze speed metalem co w rezultacie dało efekt jakby połączył się Venom z Motorhead plus Turbonegro i jeszcze kilka alkoholowych ekip. Wyszedł z tego zajebisty black'n'roll, który nieźle sieje spustoszenie.

Dyskografia Midnight jest spora ale są tam tylko dwa pełne albumy przeplatane niezliczoną ilością splitów i EP'ek. Debiutancki album wyszedł w 2011 roku i stał się jedną z najlepszych płyt w gatunku jakie powstały w USA. Po trzech latach wydali drugi album, który jeszcze bardziej jedzie po bandzie zostawiając za sobą tylko zgliszcza.

Jednym słowem sprawdźcie sobie Midnight, a strata po Motorhead nie będzie taka bolesna.
