Co to się porobiło! Morgul wydał album z gatunku DSBM! Jako mistrz cięcia się wzdłuż i wszerz w redakcji kwestią czasu było położenie łapsk na tym albumie. I przyznam bez owijania w bawełnę, że jest to bardzo przyjemna podróż po zakamarkach skrzywionego ludzkiego umysłu.

Polska scena DSBM odżywa, idealnym przykładem tego zjawiska jest właśnie długograj „Inhaling the Trauma” od Fadheit. Zespolik dość młody, bo działa od 2018 roku i na koncie ma tylko jeszcze epkę, ale mają aspirację na coś bardzo zajebistego.

W tym gatunku wszystko zostało już przeorane wzdłuż i wszerz, także na odkrywczość nie ma co liczyć, a na chuj wysilać się na jakieś w stawki z dupy, jeśli można wzorować się na kimś dobrym. Oczywiście pracę domową trzeba odrobić dobrze i tak się stało. Głównie chłopaki inspirują się tutaj Lifelover, genialnym Apati, czy też pierwszymi płytami Shining. Nie jest to więc czysty depresyjny black, a raczej jego mieszanka z rockiem. I jak to pięknie chłoszcze. Riffy pięknie się ze sobą mieszają, raz powieje hardą depresją, żeby zaraz spleść się z melancholijnym tonem. Na pochwałę zasługuje również wokal, mowa i szepty mieszają się z bolesnym wyciem, które widać, że leci prosto z serducha. A większość moi mili jest wyrzygiwana w naszym ojczystym języku. I chwała im za to, bo klimat dzięki temu podkręca się ku górze.

Bardzo udany debiut, który może stanowić inspirację dla polskiej sceny DSBM, jak powinno się grać i odrabiać pracę domową. Ogarnijcie, bo warto, chuj, że smutne granie, ale jakie prawdziwe.

Z własnej winy, z chciwości. Z tej przerażającej wizji nie ma wyjścia, nie ma od niej ucieczki. Pozostajemy sam na sam ze swoją traumą siląc się na beznadziejny krzyk rozpaczy: „Zabrali to wszystko. Zabrali”.

A na dodatek zostawili z debiutem płytowym Fadheit „Inhaling The Trauma”. Albumem, który rozlewa się psychicznym cierpieniem po organizmie powodując martwotę myśli, tępotę uczuć i zdrętwienie duszy. Albumem, który jest płaczem nad tragicznością własnej egzystencji, co przejawia się i w dołujących akustycznych wyciszeniach i we wzrastających post black metalowych falach. Natężenia boleści są różne, ale nieustannie osadzone w depresyjnej klaustrofobii, która raz zrywa się wichrem desperacji, by zaraz ugrzęznąć w spokojnym nurcie czarnej melancholii i to nie tylko w trzech instrumentalnych przerywnikach, ale i w tych podstawowych utworach.

Większość tekstów jest po polsku, a wokale są do nich dobrane bardzo obrazowo. Wrzeszczące lamenty mają dużą siłę wyrazu, tym bardziej, że są zrozumiałe i z muzycznej tragedii wyłaniają się te wyrywkowe cierpienia i zmagania z dramatem psychologicznym przewyższającym możliwości percepcyjne bohatera. Pomagają w tym też rozmaite szepty, jęki i innego rodzaju narzekania. Żeby wszystko się zgadzało to „Euphoria Of Self-Destruction” jest po niemiecku, co nadaje dodatkowej straszności ogólnemu wyrazowi.

Nie wszystko jednak jest takie bardzo dobijające, bo są też momenty zrywu, w czym przoduje najbardziej melodyjny „Noch Leben”, choć żeby nie było zbyt atrakcyjnie, na wszelki wypadek, ubarwiony został upiornymi krzykami, co finalnie daje bardzo fajny, wyróżniający się, numer.

A później wszystko wraca do normy i znów trzeba się ciąć. „Co ja tutaj robię? Nie daję rady. Nie mogę...”

Wujas


Morgul i jego Putrid Cult od czasu do czasu mnie zaskakuje. Z jednej strony raczej wiadomo, czego się spodziewać po jego wydawnictwach, na pewno nie dostaniemy tu jakichś mainstreamowych, wgłaskanych muzyczek, z drugiej jednak zdarza mu się wypuścić coś takiego, że człowiek jednak zaskoczony jest. Tak właśnie miałem z debiutem Fadheit. W teorii miał to być „Depressive Black Metal”, jednak moim zdaniem muzyka tego nowego tworu to coś znacznie więcej. Owszem, wolne depresyjne motywy stanowią ważny element twórczości Fadheit, jednak dzieje się tu znacznie więcej, niż tylko jakieś zamulające smuty. Dużo jest fajnych, zadziwiająco łatwo wpadających w ucho melodii, oczywiście mocno melancholijnych, nie jakichś tam jarmarcznych, wesołych melodyjek. Są motywy bardzo spokojne, niemal liryczne, zdarzają się też jednak szybkie i agresywne momenty, przypominające, że ta muza to jednak black metal. Co ciekawe pojawiają się, też proste i chwytliwe zagrywki o dynamice rockowej, albo nawet rock’n’rollowej. Wszystko to sprawia, że cały materiał jest zadziwiająco różnorodny i nieoczywisty, a te trzydzieści kilka minut mija bardzo szybko. Przy takiej muzyce dość łatwo wpaść w pułapkę ciągnących się jak włoskie nudle, nużacych motywów, jednak tutaj udało się tego uniknąć. Naturalnie słychać tu pewne inspiracje, ale od tego przecież nie dałoby się uniknąć. Mi akurat przychodzi na myśl taki Shining lub Silencer, gdzieś tam majaczy też Lifelover, lub nawet trochę Mgła (choć tu bardziej klimatem, niż dźwiękami) Oczywiście w przypadku takiej muzy niezwykle ważny jest klimat, a ten na „Inhaling the Trauma” jest mroczny, mocno poschizowany i (a jakże!) depresyjny. Duża w tym zasługa wokali, które są kolejnym mocnym punktem tej płyty. Oprócz bardziej tradycyjnych blackowych ryków mamy tu całą paletę przeróżnych form wokalnych. Są jakieś szepty, wołania, krzyki a nawet płaczliwe zawodzenia chorego psychicznie… Liryki są napisane w językach polskim i niemieckim, co jeszcze dodaje całości ekstra smaczku. Wszystko to brzmi mocno teatralnie, ale też robi naprawdę spore wrażenie.

Generalnie płyta bardzo udana i moim zdaniem jeden z lepszych pełnoczasowych black metalowych debiutów zeszłego roku w naszym kraju… EPki z 2018 roku nie liczę, bo jej nie słyszałem, ale na pewno się nią zainteresuję...
