For almost two decades before King Crimson's catalog became a minefield of odd retrospectives, live oddities, and archival treasure troves, A Young Person's Guide to King Crimson was the only worthwhile retrospective the band had ever had -- or seemed likely to receive. Originally released in 1976 following the band's apparently irrevocable split of the year before, this Robert Fripp-compiled double album rounded up an excellent, if somewhat idiosyncratic, survey of the group's seven years together, its contents ranging from the unimpeachable classics to unimaginable rarities -- the pre-Crimson demo of "I Talk to the Wind" was a collector's dream at the time, while the presence of "Groon" took the heat off anyone who missed out on its sole previous appearance, as the B-side of 1970's "Cat Food" single. Of the other tracks, three-fifths of the debut album included the anthemic poles of "21st Century Schizoid Man" and "Epitaph," and served to remind just how powerful In the Court of the Crimson King was on release, while more recent highlights included both "Red" and "Starless" from the band's final album (Red), Starless and Bible Black's eternally atmospheric "The Night Watch," and, as if to prove that the band's sense of humor was never far from the surface, the ribald saga of "Ladies of the Road." A vast booklet of facts and figures, again compiled by Fripp and drawing from his own squirrel-like horde of King Crimson memorabilia, rounded off the package. It's a sign of just how well conceived this collection was that, no matter how many more so-called "best-ofs" the band has endured, A Young Person's Guide remains the definitive study of the original King Crimson.

Sade's second album improved on the performance of her debut, as "Sweetest Taboo" was a huge hit and "Never as Good as the First Time" landed in both the R&B and pop Top 20. She was once again the personification of cool, laid-back singing, seldom extending or embellishing lyrics, registering emotion, or projecting her voice. This demeanor made her more desirable in the minds of many fans and was perhaps the ultimate misapplication of the notion of sophistication. But this album topped the pop charts and eventually went triple platinum.

Dla promocji płyty rozpoczęła szóstą trasę koncertową pt. Lover Fest, która zaczęła się 20 czerwca 2020, a zakończy – 1 sierpnia tego samego roku. W ramach trasy zagra łącznie 17 koncertów na trzech kontynentach. 24 lipca 2020 wydała bez zapowiedzi ósmy album studyjny pt. Folklore, który promowała singlem "cardigan". Tiziano Ferro (ur. 21 lutego 1980 roku w Latinie) – włoski piosenkarz.

Na całym świecie sprzedano ponad siedem milionów egzemplarzy jego albumów.

W dzieciństwie przez siedem lat uczył się gry na gitarze, przez dwa lata gry na fortepianie, a przez rok na perkusji. W 1996 zaczął występować w lokalnym chórze gospel, gdzie doskonalił umiejętności wokalne i dzięki któremu zainteresował się muzyką soul.

W latach 1997-1998 brał udział w eliminacjach do Festiwalu Piosenki Włoskiej w San Remo; za pierwszym razem nie przeszedł do kolejnego etapu, a za drugim podejściem uplasował się w gronie dwunastu finalistów. W 1998 nawiązał współpracę z producentami Mary Majonchi i Alberto Kalemo.

W 2001 podpisał kontrakt z wytwórnią EMI Music Italy, pod której szyldem wydał w czerwcu swój debiutancki singel, „Perdono”, który stał się przebojem w kraju. Singiel umieścił na swym debiutanckim albumie studyjnym pt. Rosso relativo, który zapewnił mu ogólnoświatową popularność. Płyta ukazała się w 42 krajach. Utwór „Perdono” doczekał się także wersji hiszpańskiej i francuskiej.

W 2003 wydał drugi album studyjny pt. 111 Centoundici, a w 2006 – album pt. Nessuno è solo, dostępny także w hiszpańskojęzycznej wersji jako Nadie está solo. W listopadzie 2008 wydał czwarty album pt. Alla mia età, który był promowany przez tytułowy singiel. W 2009 płyta uzyskała nagrodę Wind Music. Również w 2009 wspólnie z Anahí i Dulce Maríą nagrał utwór „El regalo mas grande”, a także solowo zrealizował nagranie włoskojęzycznej wersji piosenki Mary J. Blige „Each Tear”, która znalazła się na włoskim wydaniu płyty artystki pt. Stronger with Each Tear.

W październiku 2011 wydał singiel „La differenza tra me e te”, którym zapowiadał piąty album studyjny. Album pt. L’amore è una cosa semplice (w Hiszpanii pt. El amor es una cosa simple) ukazał się 28 listopada i przez pięć tygodni pozostawał na pierwszym miejscu włoskiej listy bestsellerów. Pozostałymi singlami promującymi krążek były utwory: „L’ultima notte al mondo”, „Hai delle isole negli occhi”, „L’amore è una cosa semplice”, „Per dirti ciao!”, „Troppo buono”, „L’amore è una cosa semplice” i „La fine”. Wszystkie zdobyły certyfikaty co najmniej złotej płyty za sprzedaż we Włoszech. Sam album zdobył status ośmiokrotnej platyny i został najlepiej sprzedającą się płytą 2012 w kraju.

Wiosną i latem 2012 odbył międzynarodową trasę koncertową, w ramach której zagrał m.in. na Stadionie Olimpijskim w Rzymie przed 50 tys. publicznością. W 2013 nagrał dwie piosenki („Killer”, „Sei sola”) dla raperki Baby K oraz napisał cztery single z debiutanckiego albumu Alessandry Amoroso pt. Amore puro. W listopadzie 2014 wydał pierwszy album kompilacyjny pt. TZN – The Best of Tiziano Ferro, na którym umieścił swoje największe przeboje i nowe utwory, w tym single „Senza scappare mai più” i „Incanto”, które dotarły do pierwszej piątki listy przebojów we Włoszech oraz zdobyły status platynowej płyty. Płyta przez sześć tygodni z rzędu okupowała szczyt zestawienia włoskich bestsellerów i zdobyła status siedmiokrotnej platyny. Również w 2014 wystąpił na Festiwalu Piosenki Włoskiej w San Remo.

Latem 2015 wyruszył w ogólnowłoską trasę koncertową. W listopadzie wydał reedycję albumu TZN – The Best of Tiziano Ferro, którą wzbogacił o płytę DVD zawierającą materiał zarejestrowany podczas koncertów na stadionach w San Siro stadium w Mediolanie oraz na Stadionie Olimpijskim w Rzymie. W tym samym miesiącu zagrał europejską trasę koncertową promującą składankę. 2 grudnia 2016 wydał szósty album studyjny pt. Il mestiere della vita. Płyte promował singlem „Potremmo ritornare”, który zadebiutował na pierwszym miejscu włoskiej listy przebojów. 7 lutego 2017 wystąpił podczas Festiwalu Piosenki Włoskiej w San Remo.

5 października 2010 ujawnił się jako gej na łamach włoskiej edycji czasopisma „Vanity Fair”. Według komentarza dziennika „La Repubblica”, coming out wokalisty był pierwszym tego typu wyznaniem wśród gwiazd muzyki pop we Włoszech.

W 2019 wyszedł za mąż za Victora Allena, starszego o 15 lat Amerykanina, który pracował jako konsultant w wytwórni Warner Bros.

The complete Now That's What I Call Music! collection up to 2020 Every big UK Top 40 hit from the last 37 years!

Now 10 was the first Now double cd released in 1987, all the others were either cassette tapes or double vinyl, with the exception of Now 08 & 09 which are rare and sought after limited edition single cds.

All tracks have been ripped from cd except Now 09 which is an mp3 vinyl rip as they haven't released it on cd yet. should be early next year.

They have started releasing the early Now's on cd again for the first time. Now 01 - 07 are new cd releases. With reissues of Now 8 and 9 expected early-mid 2021. Those will be uploaded as soon as they become available completing this collection.

When Sade released Diamond Life in their native U.K., they were already a kind of sensation. The band had scored hits with their first singles, the smoldering Top Ten ballad "Your Love Is King" and the perseverant soul anthem "When Am I Going to Make a Living," both of which only faintly resembled anything else on the chart. Magazines such as The Face and Smash Hits had published cover features, intensifying anticipation for the album. Diamond Life not only distanced Sade farther outside any context in which they were placed, whether it was the sulking sophisti-pop fraternity or the increasingly mechanized realm of contemporary R&B, but also fulfilled the promise of the singles that preceded it. Rhythms that sensitively ripple and pulse at their most active, topped with deceptively cool vocals from Sade Adu -- all coated with a luster -- have a way of obscuring the depth of the material to casual listeners. "Smooth Operator," the first in a series of sketches about various characters, regards a jet-setting playboy who leaves his conquests as amnesiacs and (much like the band) "moves in space with minimal waste." Elsewhere is the turnabout tale "Frankie's First Affair," where Adu's disappointment with the protagonist verges on anguish, and the grim "Sally," a nickname/metaphor for the Salvation Army, sheltering broken men ruined by addiction and poverty. Adu breaks from third-person narratives with "Cherry Pie," lamenting the loss of a lover who was "as wild as Friday night." When Adu belts "You broke my heart!" it's but one of many lines expressed with enough purpose and force to invalidate the belief that she is an aloof performer. A sinewy and compatible cover of Timmy Thomas' 1972 hit "Why Can't We Live Together" affirms that Sade are indeed soul aesthetes concerned with more than creating a mood and projecting glamour.

Biography
Raised on salsa, merengue, and cumbia, Blacc fell in love with hip-hop as a kid and started writing rap songs when he was nine. With his lyrics drawing influence from socially conscious artists like KRS-One, he put out his first hip-hop mixtape at age 17. Later developing a fierce admiration for such soul musicians as Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye, he also discovered an affinity for folk-rock singer/songwriters during his college years. “One of the most important factors in my transition from hip-hop to being a singer was listening to people like Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Kris Kristofferson, and Cat Stevens,” Blacc says. “Their songs are full of emotion that’s expressed in strong lyrics, and that had a big impact on me.”
After inking a deal with indie label Stones Throw, Blacc released his solo debut Shine Through in 2006 and sophomore album Good Things in 2010. Boosted by the breakout success of “I Need a Dollar” (which was selected as the theme song to HBO’s How To Make it In America), Good Things reached gold status in countries around the world and paved the way for his signing to XIX Recordings/Interscope Records in 2012. Made in collaboration with groundbreaking producers like Pharrell Williams, Lift Your Spirit dropped on New Year’s Day in 2014, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Album.
Looking back on his musical path so far, Blacc notes that landing a deal with XIX Recordings/Interscope prompted a major moment of reckoning, and led him to re-examine his artistic intentions. “When I signed a major-label contract, I recognized the power of having a larger audience, and I promised myself that I’d use my voice for social change,” he says. And in creating his upcoming album, Blacc has kept focused on making music meant to inspire a positive shift in mindset. “When things happening in the world seem so terrible and dark, it’s so easy to get stuck in all the negative,” he says. “But I try to do whatever I can to help people out of that. I want my music to be the light.”
