With their 1978 eponymous debut, Van Halen simultaneously rewrote the rules of rock guitar and hard rock in general. Guitarist Eddie Van Halen redefined what the electric guitar could do, developing a blindingly fast technique with a variety of self-taught two-handed tapping, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and effects that mimicked the sounds of machines and animals. It was wildly inventive and over the top, equaled only by vocalist David Lee Roth, who brought the role of a metal singer to near-performance art standards. Roth wasn't blessed with great technique, unlike Eddie, but he had a flair for showmanship derived as much from lounge performers as Robert Plant. Together, they made Van Halen into the most popular American rock & roll band of the late '70s and early '80s, and in the process set the template for hard rock and heavy metal for the '80s.

In many ways, Def Leppard were the definitive hard rock band of the '80s. There were groups that rocked harder, but few captured the spirit of the times quite as well. Emerging in the late '70s as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Def Leppard gained a following outside of that scene by toning down their heavy riffs and emphasizing melody. After a couple of strong albums, they were poised for crossover success by the time of 1983's Pyromania, and skillfully used the fledgling MTV network to their advantage. They reached the pinnacle of their career with 1987's blockbuster Hysteria, then had another big hit, 1992's Adrenalize, that defied the mainstream turn toward grunge. After that, the band settled into a pattern of touring exhaustively and releasing an album every few years, maintaining a steady audience and occasionally surprising fans with an album, like 2008's Yeah!, that harked back to the sound of their glory days, or the glam-drenched 2022 record Diamond Star Halos.

Morkera are an anonymous band from Croatia that plays a very raw form of black metal and this is a review of their self released 2022 album "Entangled Excavations" which will be released in June.

A very fast and raw sound starts off the album along with a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Dark sounding melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing while the vocals are a mixture of deep growls a nd grim black metal screams and the songs also add in a good balance between old school and modern influences.

Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while keyboards can also be heard briefly on a couple of songs. A lot of the music also shows an influence from the classic Eastern European style along with a couple of the tracks also being long and epic in length and the recording also closes with a couple of instrumentals.

Morketa plays a style of black metal that is very raw, fast, aggressive and traditional sounding. The production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover dark themes.

In my opinion Morkera are a very great sounding raw and aggressive black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording.

With their light, airy melodies and meticulously crafted, clean arrangements that appealed to a variety of audiences, the Carpenters stood in direct contrast to the excessive, gaudy pop/rock of the '70s. Yet, they became one of the most popular artists of the decade, winning four Grammy Awards, and scoring 12 Top Ten hits, and three number one singles, including the classic "(They Long to Be) Close to You" off 1970's Close to You. Karen Carpenter's calm, pretty voice was the most distinctive element of their music, settling in perfectly amidst the precise, lush arrangements provided by her brother Richard. Costumed larger-than-life hard rock/metalists emerged from the mid-70s as an antidote to disco music. A product of New York City's early-'70s glam rock scene, Twisted Sister were eager students of the New York Dolls, with the theatrics of Kiss and the shock rock of Alice Cooper thrown in for good measure. While providing an excellent role model from an artistic standpoint, the Dolls' disappointing record sales and subsequent implosion would make it difficult for such faithful disciples as Twisted Sister to land a record deal, and the band wound up struggling for nearly a decade before finally getting their big break in the early '80s. Unfortunately, when this break finally came, the band would then embody one of the most gruesome examples of record company overexposure in the history of rock & roll (or at least since Kiss' late-'70s decline), bringing an abrupt end to their brief moment of glory.

Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi (ur. 28 września 1978), lepiej znany pod pseudonimem Bushido, to niemiecki raper, producent hip-hopowy i przedsiębiorca. Jest także współzałożycielem wytwórni płytowej ersguterjunge.

Wychowany w Berlinie Ferchichi zetknął się z hip-hopem poprzez graffiti oraz swojego przyjaciela i kolegi rapera Flera. W 2001 roku Ferchichi wydał demo King of KingZ, które później doprowadziło go do podpisania kontraktu z wytwórnią płytową z Aggro Berlin. Pierwszym oficjalnym wydaniem Ferchichi było Carlo Cokxxx Nutten w 2002 roku, we współpracy z Fler.

Ferchichi urodził się 28 września 1978 roku z tunezyjskiego ojca i Niemki w Bad Godesberg, Bonn, Niemcy Zachodnie. Jego ojciec opuścił rodzinę, gdy Bushido miał trzy lata, podczas gdy jego matka zdecydowała się przeprowadzić do zachodniego Berlina. Kolega z Berlina raper King Orgasmus One dołączył do grupy, tworząc razem skład 030. Nagrali demo zatytułowane Westberlin Represent, sprzedając kilka kopii znajomym. Wraz z King Orgamus One, Bushido po raz pierwszy wystąpił gościnnie w utworze „Rap ist out”, na demo albumu Frauenarzt z 2000 roku Tanga Tanga. Po wydaniu Tanga Tanga, Bushido, King Orgasmus One i Bass Sultan Hengzt utworzyli grupę Berlins Most Wanted. To ostatecznie doprowadziło do powstania wytwórni płytowej I Luv Money Records w 2001 roku. Pierwsze demo Bushido jako artysty solowego, King of KingZ, zostało wydane w 2001 roku.

Carlo Cokxxx Nutten (często skracany do CCN), wspólny album studyjny Bushido i Flera, został wydany w październiku 2002 roku. Na płycie obaj raperzy występowali pod pseudonimami, odpowiednio, Sonny Black i „Frank White”. Album był pierwszym głównym wydawnictwem dla obu i jest obecnie uważany za bardzo wpływowy dla gangsta rapu w Niemczech. Bushido podążył za tym, wydając swój debiutancki album solowy Vom Bordstein bis zur Skyline w lipcu 2003 r. Album ponownie zawierał kilka kolaboracji z Flerem i jest uważany za kamień milowy niemieckiego hip-hopu.

Latem 2004 Bushido opuścił Aggro Berlin i podpisał kontrakt z Urban/Universal. Wraz z DJ Ilanem wyprodukował remiks piosenki Rammsteina „Amerika”.

Drugi album studyjny Bushido, zatytułowany Electro Ghetto, ukazał się w październiku 2004 roku. Album osiągnął szóste miejsce na niemieckich listach przebojów i zrodził trzy single: „Electro Ghetto”, „Nie wieder” i „Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt”, z których wszystkie znalazły się na na listach singli przez kilka tygodni.

W kwietniu 2005 roku ukazał się drugi album studyjny Bushido, Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II, ponownie pod jego alter ego „Sonny Black”, ale tym razem we współpracy z Babą Saadem zamiast Flera. Następnie wydał swój trzeci album studyjny, zatytułowany Staatsfeind Nr. 1, w listopadzie 2005 r.

1 września 2006 wydał swój czwarty solowy album, Von der Skyline zum Bordstein zurück (w skrócie VDSZBZ). Drugi sampler, Vendetta – ersguterjunge Sampler Cz. 2, została wydana 1 grudnia 2006 roku.

Na początku 2007 roku Bushido założyła dziewczęcy zespół Bisou, w skład którego wchodzą były kandydatki do castingu Popstars. Kupił również rezydencję dla siebie i swojej matki w Berlinie-Lichterfelde za 1 200 000 euro i wydał dodatkowe 800 000 euro na jej remont.

Film Zeiten ändern dich był kręcony w Berlinie i okolicach od lipca do połowy września i wydany w lutym 2010 roku. Film oparty jest na autobiografii Bushido, przedstawiającej Bushido jako on sam, wyreżyserowany przez Uli Edela i wyprodukowany przez Bernda Eichingera. 80 000 osób obejrzało film w dniu premiery.

Ścieżka dźwiękowa do filmu, również zatytułowana Zeiten ändern dich, została wydana w trzech różnych wersjach 19 lutego 2010 roku.

Bushido i Kay One napisali i nagrali „Fackeln im Wind”, który był poświęcony niemieckiej reprezentacji w piłce nożnej na cześć Mistrzostw Świata FIFA 2010 i został wydany w czerwcu. Bushido wpadł na pomysł piosenki po spotkaniu z piłkarzem Samim Khedirą podczas trasy „Zeiten ändern dich – Live durch Europa”.

W sierpniu Bushido zreformował grupę Berlins Most Wanted, która pierwotnie składała się z niego, Bass Sultan Hengzt i King Orgasmus, w 2001 roku w erze King of KingZ i dodał do grupy Kay One i Fler. Razem wydali album Berlins Most Wanted z singlem zatytułowanym „Berlins Most Wanted”.

W tym filmie Bushido potwierdził, że jego kolega z wytwórni, Kay One, gościnnie na albumie i przedstawił DJ Desue jako producenta. Bushido ogłosił również, że utwór „Wie ein Löwe” będzie można pobrać z iTunes następnego dnia.

Amerykańscy producenci płyt DJ Premier, Swizz Beatz, Araab Muzik i R'sonist wnieśli po jednym bicie do albumu. Zaplanowano również spotkanie z Dr. Dre, ale Bushido odwołane ze względu na wysoką cenę. Później DJ Premier był rozczarowany, że do utworu „Gangster” dodano nowe wokale i że jego utwory zostały zmontowane bez możliwości usłyszenia nowej wersji przed jej wydaniem. Nie wiadomo jednak, czy był to pomysł Bushido, czy jego zespołu produkcyjnego.

W 2011 roku, po zakończeniu wieloletniego feudu, Bushido ponownie połączył się z byłym kolegą z wytwórni Aggro Berlin, Sido, tworząc krótkotrwały duet rapowy 23. Ich wspólny album studyjny został wydany w październiku 2011 roku. Zrodził singli „So mach ich es” i „Erwachsen sein”.

14 czerwca 2012 r. Bushido ogłosił w wywiadzie dla gazety Bild, że założy partię polityczną, której celem jest zostanie burmistrzem Berlina. W tym samym miesiącu odbył staż dla zastępcy CDU Christiana von Stetten w Paul-Löbe-Haus w Berlinie, który wywołał wiele krytyki ze względu na kontrowersyjne teksty piosenek Bushido i jego kryminalną przeszłość.

Drugi singiel „Theorie & Praxis” (z udziałem Joki) został wydany 9 listopada 2012 roku, ale nie trafił na listy przebojów. Trzeci i ostatni singiel z albumu, „Panamera Flow” (z udziałem Shindy), został wydany 15 marca 2013 roku i zajął pierwsze miejsce. 51 w Niemczech i Austrii.

12 lipca 2013 ukazał się debiutancki singiel Shindy „Stress ohne Grund”, w którym występuje Bushido, z jego debiutanckiego albumu NWA. Po wydaniu singiel wywołał kontrowersje wśród mediów i polityków. W piosence Bushido werbalnie zaatakował polityków Serkana Törena, Claudię Roth i Klausa Wowereita. Tören i Wowereit wnieśli oskarżenie przeciwko Bushido. Adwokat Berlina również wniósł przeciwko niemu oskarżenie za mowę nienawiści, zniesławienie i przedstawianie przemocy w jego tekstach. W dniu 20 grudnia 2013 roku wydał pierwszy teledysk do „Mitten in der Nacht” na kanale YouTube Bushido. Drugi film „Gangsta Rap Kings” (z udziałem Kollegaha i Farida Banga) został wydany w styczniu 2014 roku. Przed premierą Bushido opublikował dwa zdjęcia na planie na Instagramie. Pierwsze zdjęcie przedstawia Bushido i Farida Banga. Według Media Control Gfk International, Sonny Black ustanowił rekord liczby pobrań, będąc najczęściej pobieranym niemieckim albumem rapowym i zajmując pierwsze miejsce, pokonując album Helene Fischer Farbenspiel.

W połowie stycznia 2015 Bushido opublikował wideo na swoim kanale YouTube, w którym ogłosił datę premiery Carlo, Cokxxx, Nutten 3. Przed wydaniem albumu wśród społeczności fanów Bushido krążyło wiele spekulacji i plotek na temat jego partnera do współpracy przy albumie. Podobno raperzy Fler, Eko Fresh, Haftbefehl i Shindy byli częścią projektu, ale każdy artysta temu zaprzeczył. W maju 2015 roku Bushido wystąpił jako gość fabularny w utworach „Kimbo Slice” (również z udziałem Shindy) i „Best Friends” z drugiego albumu studyjnego, Rumble in the Jungle, autorstwa Ali Bumaye. Trzy single „Brot brechen”, „G$D” i „CLA$$IC” zostały wydane przed wydaniem albumu w ramach promocji wraz z teledyskami. Utwór „Rap leben” pojawił się na płycie Juice, wydanie 132. Ostatni teledysk „Adel” wydany tego samego dnia co album. W listopadzie wydał CLA$$IC współpracę Bushido i Shindy, zajmując pierwsze miejsce w Niemczech, Austrii i Szwajcarii. Pomysł założenia zespołu pojawił się w 1991 roku, kiedy Ota Hereš i Petr Buneš, ówcześni gitarzyści thrash metalowego zespołu Kryptor, postanowili skomponować non-trash metalowe piosenki z tekstami pubowymi. Centralnym miejscem, w którym konsultowali swoją pracę, była praska restauracja „Na Slamníku”. Demo zatytułowane „Hospodo, nalejvej”, ukończone 25 stycznia 1992 roku, już pod nazwą Alkehol zawierało 12 utworów i zostało zaoferowane firmie nagraniowej Monitor, która tę ofertę przyjęła.

Pierwszy album Alkehol został nagrany w kwietniu 1992 roku w studiu nagraniowym, a do dwunastu utworów znajdujących się już na demo zostały dodane trzy kolejne utwory. Album został wydany pod tytułem Alkehol 8 czerwca 1992 roku i wkrótce znalazł się w pierwszej dwudziestce najlepiej sprzedających się tytułów ówczesnej federalnej listy przebojów telewizyjnych [Źródło?] Piosenki Dejvice i O chlastu).

Ze względu na rosnącą liczbę koncertów, dwaj członkowie założyciele dołączyli do zespołu przyjaciół: perkusista Martin Melmus (ex-Törr) i Tonda Rauer (wtedy gitarzysta u Briana) zaadaptowani na strunach basowych. W tym składzie we wrześniu 1992 roku zespół nagrał na samplerze utwór „Window of My Love”… Give Me More Olympic…

Pierwszy koncert odbył się 30 października 1992 roku w Duchcovie, gdzie Alkehol poprzedził zespół Kabát.

Sukces grupy był kontynuowany wraz z wydaniem w 1993 roku albumu The Smile Drinks Better, który zdobył listę przebojów telewizyjnych [źródło?] Po czym grupa wystąpiła w wyprzedanej hali Lucerna w Pradze.

Od tego czasu Alkehol zagrał setki koncertów, uczestniczył w wielu festiwalach i wydał poniższe albumy. W 2002 roku Alkehol zmienił wytwórnię i przeniósł się do Sokol's Power Voice Music, gdzie Planet vopic został wydany jako pierwszy.

Zespół nagrał również kilka hymnów dla klubów sportowych, m.in. w 1992 roku dla drużyny piłkarskiej AC Sparta Praga, w 2008 roku dla drużyny hokejowej HC Kometa Brno i obecnie używa hymnu startowego z tego zespołu także hokejowego HC Slavia Praha czy klubu piłkarskiego SK Rakovník.
