Druga studyjna płyta Łydki Grubasa stanowi szalone połączenie rockowego grania z miksem klasyki, biesiady, reaggae i wielu innych gatunków. 14 piosenek w przebojowym wydaniu, okraszonych tekstem wyśmiewającym otaczającą nas rzeczywistość nie tylko rozerwie, ale i zmusi szare komórki do chwili refleksji.

Materiał nagrano w olsztyńskim Enej Studio w listopadzie i grudniu 2012 r.
'Rapapara' nagrano też w Enej Studio, ale w sierpniu 2011 r.




Otwierające płytę nagranie „Nie lubię to” to przewrotność zamknięta w rockowe uderzenie, od początku stawiające do pionu wszystkie zmysły słuchacza. Jeżeli zaś szukacie spokojniejszych brzmień… za „Chiny” ludowe nie odnajdzie ich w kolejnym utworze. I niech nie zmyli Was wstęp pozornie zwiastujący łagodniejsze tony. Nie jest to także kompozycja oszczędna, choć słychać tu nawiązania do dźwięków rodem ze Szkocji. Numer trzy, „DUB, czy tam dancehall”, zabiera nas do krainy szalonego rytmu i podawanego z zawrotną prędkością tekstu. Nad tym ostatnim warto pochylić się na dłużej, gdyż, jak przystało na słowa stworzone pod szyldem Łydki Grubasa, zawiera zaskakujące tezy i równie niecodzienne wnioski. Grzeczne dzieci, lepiej zasłońcie uszy! A może właśnie przeciwnie?… Wszak mamy do czynienia z niezłą szkołą życia przed czwartym utworem, zatytułowanym po prostu „Wódka, czyli po wewnętrznej stronie spodni”. Z łatwością domyślacie zapewne, że pod tą niewyszukaną nazwą kryje się stonowana piosenka z wersami traktującymi o romantycznej, ale nieszczęśliwej miłości… Zaraz, zaraz, to tylko żart! Jeżeli daliście się nabrać, wiedzcie, iż zamiast wymienionych cech czeka Was blisko sześć minut kołyszącego ciałem i umysłem grania. Na uwagę zasługuje również ciekawy zabieg polegający na zmianie stylistyki następującej w drugiej połowie nagrania.

Po „Lecie” przychodzi czas na instrumentalne podejście do egzystencji w utworze „Moja fujara” prowadzące do wizyty w „MTV”. Tym oto sposobem docieramy do połowy stawki, skąd już zaledwie kilka kroków dzieli nas „Podwodnego świata” z jego przejmującą, wręcz rzewną linią melodyczną. Co więcej, całość zwieńczono gitarową solówką przywodzącą na myśli liryczne, rockowe ballady. Połączenie tak zbudowanej kompozycji z pozornie melancholijną warstwą tekstową sprawia, że ta propozycja staje się moim faworytem wśród pozycji zapełniających album „Perpetuum Debile”. Jest to bowiem jedno z nagrań, których sedno tkwi w podniesieniu iluzyjnego dna i odkryciu tego właściwego.

Strzał w dziesiątkę, „Świnia”, ponownie zalicza się do grona audialnych niespodzianek i kontrastowych zestawień. Klimatyczny, składający jak gdyby z dwóch zróżnicowanych części początek poprzedza ciężką – w pozytywnym znaczeniu tego określenia – resztę okraszoną dzikimi popisami gitary. Zamykające płytę „Rapapara” pojawia się aż dwukrotnie, nic więc dziwnego, iż stało się singlem promującym wydawnictwo. Gdzie tkwi przyczyna owej dwoistości? Sprawdźcie sami! Jedno mogę Wam jednak zagwarantować: krążek „Perpetuum Debile” w żadnym razie nie jest piętą achillesową Łydki Grubasa!
