Artur Rumiński poza działalnością w ramach niezliczonych projektów (m.in. ARRM, THAW, FURIA, GRUZJA, MENTOR) komponuje również pod własnym nazwiskiem. Efekty tej twórczości opublikowały do tej pory takie wydawnictwa jak Wounded Knife czy Sqrt. W odróżnieniu od tego, co prezentuje wraz z wymienionymi zespołami, Artur solo realizuje się w nieco innej stylistyce, kładąc nacisk na minimalistyczne formy. Przy użyciu dość oszczędnych środków, buduje niezwykle intymny, lekko oniryczny i refleksyjny świat misternie utkanych dźwięków, z których wybrzmiewają momentami echa psychodelii, nawiązania do muzyki świata i odwołania do muzyki ilustracyjnej.

Jego najnowszy album, ukazujący się w barwach Zoharum, to w sumie 7 kompozycji, tworzących razem wyjątkowo spójną i oddziałującą silnie na wyobraźnię słuchaczy historię, zamkniętą w całość, z właściwym początkiem, rozwinięciem i zakończeniem.
Płyta wydana w 4-panelowym digipacku, w ścisłym limicie 300 szt.




Niespełna półgodzinny, debiutancki album Artura Rumińskiego to wytrawna dawka ambientowej elektroniki. Rumiński, na co dzień udzielający się w takich projektach jak: Thaw, Furia, Gruzja czy Mentor, znalazł czas i dokonał realizacji nagrań, jakie właśnie trafiły na tę płytę. To muzyka całkowicie instrumentalna, będąca zdaje się odbiciem jego wewnętrznego świata. Dominują tu minimalistyczne formy, niezwykle oniryczne, intymne. Z lekka psychodeliczne tła udanie splatają się z fascynacjami światem muzyki etnicznej.

Czasem można odnieść wrażenie jakby Rumiński próbował na własną modłę, transformować echa hinduskich rag. Zatopione w pogłosach i ambientowych tłach, gładko wślizgują się w meandry podświadomości, tworząc wizję iluzorycznych światów. Niekiedy Rumiński łamie ich uspokojone, senne brzmienia, wprowadzając elementy kontrolowanego chaosu, jak chociażby w kompozycji IIII, która w dużej mierze bliska jest estetyce muzyki improwizowanej. To co może zaskakiwać przy spotkaniu z płytą to jej brzmienie, nieco brudne i rozdygotane, bardziej osadzone w stylistyce lo-fi. Z początku może to razić, ale najwidoczniej taki był właśnie zamysł samego Rumińskiego, który chciał zapewne uniknąć studyjnej sterylności i postawił na bardziej surowe, szorstkie brzmienie. Wydaje się, że 27 minut jakie zarezerwował na tym albumie w zupełności wystarcza. Przy dłuższym czasie materiał mógłby wydawać się nieco rozwlekły i nużący. A tak na pewno zaostrza apetyt i pozwala wierzyć, że solowa działalność Artura Rumińskiego nie skończy się na tej jednej płycie.

Contrary to what he presents within the bands mentioned above, Artur’s solo output appears in a slightly different style, cherrishing minimalist forms.
Being moderate in measures, he builds an extremely intimate, slightly oneiric and reflective atmosphere of intricately woven sounds, from which echoes psychedelia with references to world and illustrative music.
His latest album appearing under Zoharum banner consists of 7 compositions creating a uniquely coherent and strongly affecting listener’s imagination history with proper beginning, development and ending.
CD released in a 4-panel digipack, strictly limited to 300 copies.
