Płyta została nagrana w lutym 1976 roku, kiedy Krzysztof Krawczyk na krótko powrócił do zespołu. Na albumie, prócz Krzysztofa Krawczyka usłyszymy jeszcze dwóch solistów – Halinę Żytkowiak i Sławomira Kowalewskiego. Nagraniami kierował znakomity Piotr Figiel. Album odniósł duży sukces i zyskał status Złotej Płyty.

„Znowu razem” to płyta zaskakująca. Z jednej strony pojawiają się tutaj charakterystyczne harmonie wokalne, kojarzące się jednoznacznie z wcześniejszymi nagraniami zespołu, z drugiej – aranżacje eksponują rytmikę funky czy syntezatory. Uwagę zwraca balladowe „Oddam”, poprockowe „Zabrali im ławę” czy energetyczne „Niebo nad głową”.
Zupełnie osobną kategorią jest „Ałma Ata”, instrumentalny popis (głównie Tomasza Rostkowskiego) sięgający do najlepszych tradycji rocka progresywnego – z nośnym tematem, wyraźnymi ukłonami w stronę Mahavishnu Orchestra oraz błyskotliwymi solówkami skrzypiec czy fletu. A całość wieńczy, „Rysunek na szkle” w wykonaniu Krzysztofa Krawczyka. Ten sam, który rok później – w nowej wersji – stał się jednym z jego największych solowych przebojów.

Była to ostatnia płyta Trubadurów z udziałem Krzysztofa Krawczyka.
