Na albumie 'Inverted World' Somalgia prezentuje psychodeliczną interpretację dystopijnej rzeczywistości osadzonej w świecie niemal identycznym z naszym. Album obejmuje eklektyczny wachlarz wpływów i gatunków, od black metalu, trip-hopu i folku po rock progresywny i psychodeliczny.

Koncepcyjnie 'Inverted World' przedstawia podróż ku przebudzeniu, podczas której główny bohater zmaga się z pogodzeniem się z naturą rzeczywistości, wpada w niekończące się tarapaty spiskowe, zmaga się z uzależnieniem, konsumpcjonizmem i przeciążeniem technologicznym, a ostatecznie rozumie, co znaczy być outsiderem w zacofanym świecie.

On ‘Inverted World’, Somalgia present a psychedelic interpretation of a dystopian reality set in a world not unlike our own. The album covers an eclectic range of influences & genres from black metal, trip-hop and folk to progressive & psychedelic rock.

Conceptually, ‘Inverted World’ follows a journey of awakening in which the protagonist struggles to come to terms with the nature of reality, falls down endless conspiracy rabbit holes, battles addiction, consumerism & technology overload and ultimately understands what it means to be an outsider in a backwards world.
