Originally released in 1998 through Repulse Records, Destined to Fail stands as the lone full-length statement from Massachusetts death metal cult Scattered Remnants -- a savage and uncompromising document of underground brutality that has only grown in stature over time.

Emerging from the same fertile American death metal underground that produced pioneers of brutal and groove-driven extremity, Scattered Remnants forged a sound rooted in primitive heaviness, suffocating atmosphere, and relentlessly punishing songwriting.
