The Specials (znany też jako The Special AKA) to angielski zespół grający ska założony w 1977 roku w Coventry. Jeden z najważniejszych twórców drugiej fali ska (2 Tone). Po założeniu w roku 1977 przez Goldinga, Dammersa i Pantera zespół nazywał się The Automatics, a następnie The Coventry Automatics. W ciągu roku dołączyli do niego Terry Hall i Roddy Radiation i zespół zmienił nazwę na The Specials AKA The Coventry Automatics a później na The Specials AKA. Joe Strummer z zespołu The Clash uczestniczył w jednym z ich koncertów i zaprosił ich na otwarcie jego zespołu w Parole UK Tour. Ten występ dał The Specials nowy poziom międzynarodowej ekspozycji. Zespół zaczął nosić modsowski styl - dwukolorowe garnitury razem z innymi elementami znanymi z młodzieżowej mody lat `60. Wstawka zawiera ostatnie wydawnictwo zespołu wydane po śmierci Terry Halla w 2022r. To zapis koncertu zagranego w rodzinnym Coventry.
