Lid was a Psychedelic Rock styled project formed in the latter half of the 1990s by Daniel Cavanagh from Anathema, and vocalist Eric Wagner from US Doom Metal pioneers Trouble. Timothy and Tommy Reeves performed on bass and drums respectively.

The band's sole album, In the Mushroom, combined 'stoner rock' influences with a notable Beatles-eque inspiration and included a stellar cover of the Beatles classic Don't Let me Down as well as a version of The Monkees' Randy Scouse Git.

In the Mushroom was produced by Eric Wagner and Vincent Wojno, and was mixed at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley.
