Nawet, jeśli proces nagrywania w studio jest najbardziej istotny w tworzeniu muzyki, nadal moją ulubioną częścią jest pisanie tego materiału. Niezmiennie układam riffy w domu z tym samym starym sznytem. To samo z tekstami. Najbardziej inspiruje mnie pierwsza fala black metalu.

IMMORTAL are back, the original grim and icy masters of Blashyrkh. "War against all" is a strong statement that the band is still full of passion for what they do and stand for: Heavy black metal between rage and majestic mid-tempo. The album is like the best of all ages from the band's history exceeding all releases since their monumental masterpiece "At the Heart of Winter". "Nordlandihr", an epic instrumental, is the most unusual track, "No Sun" or "Wargod" more standard to check the album.



Finally, new Immortal. And they delivered exactly what I was hoping for. Not too aggressive, cold and sharp black metal with decent epicness added. War Against All is full of memorable songs and varied enough to keep it interesting. A very good addition to Immortal's discography.



Less angry but just as irate, Demonaz shows he still has plenty of Immortal in him and he's feeling a bit better about all that's past, but still wants to blaze a trail or blistering frost moving forward. Favorite track: Return To Cold.
