The Foxholes wystartowali w 2006 roku w Barcelonie, będąc standardowym rockowym składem, eksperymentowali z wieloma stylami muzycznymi: od rocka do electro, od nowej fali do rocka progresywnego.
Prowadzony przez Jonaha A. Luke'a projekt zyskał dzięki umiejętnościom muzyków takich jak Maese 1001 (X-Fasic), Francis Matas (The New Raemon, Nomhadas, S.ym), Anna Pons (Green Dragonfly), a lista jest długa na.
W kwietniu 2009 The Foxholes wydali swój pierwszy album i od tego czasu projekt wydał siedem albumów, w tym Radio Cincinnati (2015), Un Mal Menor (2016) i Sci-Fox (2017), wszystkie nagrane w Wheel Sound Studio przez Txosse Ruiz (Bez wyjścia, Zimt).
