Budapest Klezmer Band to eksperymentalna grupa muzyki klezmerskiej z Budapesztu, założona w 1990 roku, łącząca tradycyjne melodie i piosenki klezmerskie z wpływami wschodnioeuropejskimi, klasyką, swingiem i elementami jazzu. Zespół sam pisze większość piosenek, ale także reinterpretuje tradycyjne pieśni żydowskie czy wschodnioeuropejskie.

Muzyczny „mózg” grupy, Ferenc Jávori, urodził się i wychował w Munkács, obecnie na Ukrainie. Doświadczał klezmeru jako części kwitnącej wówczas kultury żydowskiej. Jako aranżer i kompozytor Jávori nieustannie rozwija się w stylu klezmerskim. W tradycję wschodnioeuropejską, z jej przekazanymi melodiami, rytmami i sposobami grania, wpisuje klezmerską tradycję USA i Europy Zachodniej, ukształtowaną przez rytmy jazzowe i latynoskie, tworząc klezmer o otwartych granicach, »blues XXI wieku«.
