At the forefront of the progressive rock revival that emerged for a brief period in the mid-1980s, Marillion have proven their staying power, by becoming one of the most popular cult bands of the era. Their combination of fantasy-fueled imagery--the name is taken from J.R.R. Tolkien's novel SIMARILLION--and sprawling, extravagant music has captured imaginations all over the world. The loyalty of Marillion's fans is unsurpassed, as demonstrated in 1997 when their US tour was deemed impossible due to insufficient funds; American devotees banded together to raise over $60,000 for the cause. The concert captured here, filmed at the Astoria in London over the course of two days in 2004, captures a sold-out weekend, and a venue filled with adoring fans. The band presented their most recent album, MARBLES, and the performance was recorded using 15 different cameras, providing a complete Marillion live experience. The song list includes "The Invisible Man," "Marbles 1," "Don't Hurt Yourself," "Uninvited Guest," "Cover My Eyes," and more.
